Josh wasn’t joshing around with his senior pictures – the kid was on FIRE! Okay well HE wasn’t on fire, but his tennis racket was, and figuratively speaking he did a great job on the rest so the title fits. He’s a North Farmington Raider and a legacy Frameable senior since his older sis Rachel came through here for her session so we were excited to spend some more time with Josh and Rachel’s mom Susan who is a delight and to photograph another one of her kids! So let’s get to some highlights:
Josh Wasn’t Joshing Around…
We started off in the studio for the fire…
We love these….
And we have some behind the scenes from this one too from Facebook:
At this point we headed to Birmingham for the rest…
Looking good!
We also like this white marble…
Here’s a little more behind the scenes from Birmingham this time from Instagram:
What a great session! We aren’t joshing around when we say we enjoyed hanging out with this young man and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with him!

BASSICALLY we love Meg and this session – it’s true. What a sweetheart and a multiple threat! A student athlete, a musician, beautiful on the inside and out, smart and nice. The whole package, and we really enjoyed a wonderful day with her and her mom Carolyn in Birmingham! Let’s get to the highlights!
BASSICALLY we love Meg!
Our conditions were awesome and the backlight on this first photo is perfect!
Beautiful!
We also played around with some studio photos by the way before we headed outdoors – here’s a little fun behind the scenes from those with some tennis flavor from Instagram:
As for why we’re spelling “bassically” with two s’s, here’s your answer…
How cool right? Meg plays the double bass! Here’s some behind the scenes with her instrument from Facebook!
Let’s get to a couple more outfits and highlights from Quarton Lake:
STUNNING.
And one more by the waterfall…
And there you have it – BASSICALLY it was a perfect day and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of Meg’s session!

It was advantage Donovan for sure as he totally dominated the game on his senior session on a perfect August day! We’ve known “Big D” as we’ve always called him since he and our Tony were kindergartners at Doherty about a dozen years ago, and Donovan and his little sis Camie were actually in the window of our studio here when we first opened! Love this family and Donovan’s mom whom I’ve always called “Downtown Julie Brown” and Camie both joined us on Donovan’s session! His dad Steve was home sleeping (that’s a little inside joke). As a matter of fact we did a CAMIE TAKEOVER on all the behind the scenes which is pretty much the cutest thing ever, so yes this was one to remember.
Advantage Donovan
We started on the tennis courts at Bloomfield Hills High School where Donovan plays on the team, and his serve is like a cannon shot… We also started the Camie takeover here BUT *****CAUTION***** this is the only behind the scenes that you may not be able to really get through because Facebook Creator was really glitchy this time and we didn’t know until afterward. The audio is okay but you may want to skip further down to the Snapchat story and the Instagram Live. Our apologies on that – so let’s get it out of the way….
Now here is the tennis result:
Looking good!
Next we moved on to some natural settings and got some great stuff…
And now for the best of the Camie takeover – the Snapchat Story! This is so fun!
Here’s one more from one of our locations:
What a stud!
At this point it was time to head back to the studio and we fired up the Instagram Live:
And here’s dapper Donovan with the suit and tie look!
And there you have it! Advantage Donovan indeed and we hope you enjoyed the highlights from our day with him!
