We had just about the sweetest sibling session here at the studio on the occasion of the youngest’s 6 month milestone and these three were so fun!!! Mom Ashley has been here with hubby Chris and the kids before but this was Enzo’s first appearance with older sibs Lucca & Sylla together and there was definitely more magic this time around…
Sweetest Sibling Session
So this was a pretty straightforward approach with the kids on the brown backdrop and their outfits were amazing… Let’s start with the three together:
How great are they?
We also have a little behind the scenes fun for you here with our Snapchat story from the session! You’ll even see that Ashley jumped in for a couple shots! Follow us on Snapchat for frequent snaps and stories from sessions and various other goings on!
Now let’s take a look at individual portraits of all three kids shall we? First big brother…
Stylin’!!!! Love the suspenders…
Next we have big (and little) sister…
Love the beret!!!
And now the little man!
OMG… could he be any more delicious?
And there you have it – just about the sweetest sibling session you will ever see! We hope you enjoyed the highlights!!!

Sami’s sublime senior session was one to remember, and why wouldn’t it be? We already photographed Sami before as a spokesmodel representing the class of 2018 and that session was fab so we already knew we could look forward to another awesome outing! This time we went to the E.L. Johsnon Nature Center in Bloomfield Hills and our conditions were perfect! Sami’s mom Lisa and her boyfriend Greg joined to be Sami’s cheering section too! Great lighting, great senior and plenty of natural beauty all around…. much to enjoy so let’s get to it!
Sami’s Sublime Senior Session
Our first stop was on this beautiful long bridge – a great photo to kick it off…
Sublime! The backlight on her hair is such a great accent and Sami is off to a perfect start here!
We also have some behind the scenes fun for you too – first with the replay of the Facebook Live broadcast:
At this point we headed out on the trails to get some pure nature – flowers, trees – plenty of beauty!
So pretty!
Just a relaxed, happy Sami here – love it.
We also have some more behind the scenes this time from the YouTube Live replay:
And we’ll leave you with this lovely photo of Sami just being Sami….
Sublime indeed! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with Sami – it was definitely one to remember!

We gushed about Dani plenty when we blogged about her spokesmodel session and after knowing her for about 6 months as she’s represented the studio for the class of 2018 we can say with certainty it was all justified. We LOVE this girl and we definitely had a dazzling day with her in Detroit! Her mom Diana came along for the fun and as you’ll see it was a session to remember.
Dazzling Day With Dani
Many of the highlights of this session ended up being in The Belt which we’ll get to, but we started out on Belle Isle and captured this stunner:
Wow – dazzling right? I also have to say that I’ve been playing around with the new Snapchat filters on my iPhone for some of the behind the scenes stuff we put on our Snapchat stories and I think this one of Ally capturing the photo of Dani above is worth including here – like a cool little painting…
Meanwhile we have the YouTube live broadcast replay from Belle Isle as well for you here:
Now let’s head over to The Belt in downtown Detroit where we captured some real winners!
Love it – and here is the behind the scenes Facebook Live broadcast replay that goes with that shot:
Her outfit seemed to be just perfect for the colors there too….
We also went to an art gallery there that rotates installations of different mediums and we’ve been lucky enough to be there when they invited us in to take photos. That’s where this last one was captured:
So cool! And there you have it – a dazzling day in Detroit with Dani indeed! We hope you enjoyed the highlights!

Mason definitely made it happen on his senior session – and it wasn’t his first one. Okay well it was his first one that was his senior session but he came along on his brother Reed’s session a year ago so he knew what to expect and he was ready to roll. What a great kid – the kind of kid you can look at him a certain way and get him laughing and then everyone is laughing. We had a lot of fun and mom Tracie and dad Brent joined again and we’ve known them for decades. Brent is one of the few really cool people I met back in my corporate days who I’ve remained friends with and the whole family is great.
Mason Makes It Happen
So with Mason the plan was to head over to the Franklin Cider Mill to get some location photos – always a great spot and we’ll start there:
Looking great! The conditions were fantastic too as you can see with that great backlight!
We also have some fun behind the scenes action for you first with the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
And one more up close and personal with our guy before we head back to the studio:
Stud!!!
At this point we headed back to the studio to get a few more starting with this one…
How great is the bow tie? More seniors should wear these…. just sayin’
Here’s another behind the scenes replay – this time from YouTube Live:
And we’ll finish with one more casual shot from the studio:
And there you have it – Mason made it happen for sure, and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with him!

Hmmmm….. how to achieve absolute clearcut cuteness…? Let’s see:
1 – Very smart sweet cute senior
1- Awesome Family
1- Perfect Day for shooting
Several – Undefinable intangibles that just make everything seem to work
Meet ahead of time, mix all ingredients together and serve!
Yep – the recipe worked. We definitely closed in on absolute clearcut cuteness with Chloe.
What was kind of fun was the parent trade off that happened! Chloe’s mom JJ and her dad Adam had just slightly overlapping schedules and so JJ was with us for some of the day and she “handed off” to Adam to hang out with us for the end of the session!
Absolute Clearcut Cuteness
So we started with a little bit of studio work which yielded this photo on the white background:
We love that one – just cool confident and chill!
At this point we headed out to Birmingham for location photos and we started at Quarton Lake where we got this stunning close up:
Wow!
We also have some fun behind the scenes for you starting with the replay of our YouTube Live broadcast – be sure to subscribe to our channel to tune in to future broadcasts!
We also headed into downtown Birmingham to get some city photos like this one – this photo is one that has one of those undefinable intangibles that we mentioned in the recipe above. We had no idea that the shadow of me holding “Reflecto” our reflector would form a big heart until we saw the result!
So fun!
And we also have more behind the scenes fun here from the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
And one more photo to share from the top of one of the parking structures – cool shot here…
Absolute clearcut cuteness indeed!
And there you have it – we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with Chloe!!!

When we say we were up and at ’em for some Laker Pride with Jared we aren’t kidding! The first photo you’ll see in these sneak peeks is one you would assume was a night time shot, but it was actually a morning shot before sunrise! The schedule just worked out that way so we said let’s go for it, and you know what? There’s something to be said for that “early to bed early to rise” thing… ha! Meanwhile Jared is a cool dude and his dad Phil joined us who was very helpful having dabbled in some photography himself. Needless to say, it was a memorable morning and the proof is in the portraits.
Laker Pride with Jared…
So for the first shot we headed back to the West Bloomfield High School SWAMP (that’s the nickname for their football stadium) where we’ve photographed a couple of Jared’s teammates this year to get what has become somewhat of a signature football shot of ours – another winner – Jared looks the part for sure!
Looking good – Laker Pride indeed…
Once we got the photos we needed at the Swamp we headed over to Birmingham to take a few city photos and we have a little behind the scenes fun for you starting with the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
Here are two of the resulting photos from this segment of the morning:
Big fans of that one… and one more:
Nice!
At this point we brought it back home to the studio to finish up and here is the behind the scenes as Jared donned his letter jacket and showed off a little versatility with a multi-sport approach, and maybe our first shot put photo (?)….
And here is the result!
Awesome stuff. We had one heck of a morning with this guy and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time with him!

We’ve got much senior picture magnificence with Madelin and we’re excited to share some of it! Madelin is a Frameable legacy since her brother Nathan was here a couple of years ago, and what’s funny is that while Madelin’s mom Tracy and her sister Nora both joined us on this session, Madelin herself played the “mom role” on Nathan’s session making sure he was on point – so this wasn’t her first rodeo so to speak – ha! Meanwhile we’ve known Madelin since she was born – her dad is an old college teammate of mine so sessions like these are always a little surreal for us – in a magnificent sort of way…..
Magnificence With Madelin
With this session we spent the entire time on location on a perfect morning the last day of August and we started at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills:
Off to a great start! Madelin looks great and we love that spot on the rocks…
We also have some fun behind the scenes action from the session like we always do – first from the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
Moving right along we have this one of Madeline with a little help from a gentle breeze!
…and one more from Heritage Park up close – LOVE this one:
The lighting, the smile – it all came together for that shot for sure – there’s that magnificence we’re talking about!!!
Madeline will be pursuing her education and softball career at U of M Dearborn – so cool! We wanted to get a photo to reflect that so at this point we headed to a local softball diamond… here is the behind the scenes from our YouTube Live broadcast:
And the result:
Go Blue!
And there you have it! Senior picture magnificence with Madelin! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

We’ve had a ball photographing Jordyn while she’s been representing our studio as a spokesmodel for the class of 2018, and a perfect day in Detroit photographing Jordyn is definitely our jam. As was the case with Jordyn’s spokesmodel session this was a family affair with mom Stacy, dad Eric, and even older sister Sydney met up with us for part of the day! The game plan here other than the yearbook headshot at the studio was to explore Detroit and explore Detroit we did!
In Detroit Photographing Jordyn…
We started out at Belle Isle which is where we spent a good deal of time. The more we shoot there the more great spots we find. The first photo we’ll highlight is of Jordyn at the James Scott Memorial Fountain:
Great spot, great backlight, great senior! As I said we roamed around the island and even stopped at the beach for a few yoga poses as you’ll see in this fun behind the scenes replay of our Facebook Live video we did!
Here’s another photo with the unique aesthetic of looking through a natural window at our girl…
So cool and Jordyn looks amazing!
To Eastern Market…
At this point we headed over to the Eastern Market area for some murals to play with and some grit and we found plenty of both! First the mural:
Knowing where your light is and how to use it is key…. love the backlight on Jordyn’s hair once again!
We also have some more fun behind the scenes here as we headed into one of our fave empty buildings – this time from the replay of our YouTube Live video:
And the result with the grit:
Awesome shot to finish with! Yes being in Detroit photographing Jordyn is definitely our jam and you can see why! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

We are love love loving Lilly’s senior session and you’ll see why in a sec – it’s fabulous! But aside from the photographic results we like Lilly and she’s a North Farmington Raider – you know how we feel about our North Farmington Raiders! Remember we’re Raiders…. Anyhow we ordered perfect conditions for Lilly’s day and we got them, and with Lilly’s mom Sue along for the fun we had quite a perfect session we must say!
Love Love Loving Lilly!
We started out in the studio and first we’ll share this shot of Lilly on the white background in this fashionable black feather shirt!
Nice!!!
We have some fun behind the scenes for you as well – first in the studio from the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
Much fun!
We spent most of our time together on location in Birmingham and we’ll focus there for the rest of these. Let’s start with this beautiful photo at Quarton Lake on the dock!
Love love loving it!!!
Let’s take a look at the replay of our YouTube Live broadcast from the day as well as we move into downtown to get some city shots!
And a couple of spectacular results:
Love that… and one more!
That backlight though!!!! Awesome.
And there you have it! You can see why we’re love love loving Lilly’s session! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

As promised we present Part 2 of yesterday’s Twin Senior highlights!!! Yesterday the focus was on Hallie, and today it’s Shoshie FO SHO!!! Haha! Loving the results from the day we spent with these two and their mom Caryn – we laughed a lot that day and the girls were rock stars!
Shoshie Fo Sho!
The focus for both girls was the summer style portraits on location in a natural setting so today will be more of the same awesomeness, and we’ll start with this one on the edge of the Quarton Lake dock in Birmingham:
She looks great! A little backlight and great conditions that day too!
The next pose shows a playful side of Shoshie – much fun!
Love it!
We also have the behind the scenes live stream from Facebook for you – the YouTube Live broadcast is in Hallie’s post.
With twins we have plenty of time to roam around and hit different spots and here’s one of Shoshie in the stream…
Love her reflection in the water too!
One more of Shoshie close up….
So pretty – and one of the girls together in the water….!
So adorable!!!
So there you have it! Twin seniors, twin blog posts, twin highlights – double the fun, and we hoped you enjoyed the photos!
