Highly awesome – yes indeed. A fitting description of this fab senior session with our latest senior Holly – a session that makes us wanna holla! Holly is a West Bloomfield Laker, a soccer player and an all around great girl – we really enjoyed her and her mom Nicole’s company for the perfect day we spent in Birmingham!
Holly’s Highly Awesome…
We focused this entire session on location in Birmingham and we couldn’t have asked for better weather!
Just beautiful!
We have some fun behind the scenes as we like to do as well – first from our live stream on Instagram:
Here’s one in a tree that we’ve used that we seem to be perfectly able to fit a senior in! Haha!
We also have more behind the scenes fun from Facebook:
And here is one with that outfit!
Holly looked amazing and the lush summer flowers and colors make for great sessions at Quarton Lake!
We’ll leave you with one more:
She’s adorable!
And there you have it! Now you see why Holly’s highly awesome session makes us wanna holla! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her and Nicole!

Camryn was definitely in command on this very first senior session of the Class of 2020 season! But let’s back up a sec…
Camryn’s mom Rochelle has been my Facebook friend for a couple of years but we had never met in person! We met through mutual connections and I did not realize her daughter was an upcoming senior at our alma mater – North Farmington! So when she reached out to discuss senior pictures we were excited! When you are as active as we are on Facebook sometimes you can make a connection online that becomes a connection offline! I knew we would like Rochelle and by extension it was no shock that we liked Camryn! Camryn is adorable and smart and nice, and she wants to be a pediatrician! She’s got it together, and yes she was in command on her senior session!
Camryn In Command
We started in the studio and focused mainly on the red fabric backdrop and the black. Starting with the black:
Wow! Okay she looks amazing, and now would be a good time to give a shout out to her makeup artist Tina Jones who did a fantastic job on Camryn!
We also have some fun behind the scenes first from the studio on Facebook:
Next we switched to the fiery red fabric backdrop for this full length photo:
Camryn is so photogenic and so comfortable in front of the camera! A delight for Ally to work with!
At this point it was time to head out on location. It was brutally hot out – over 95 degrees but we were not going to be deterred! Not to mention there were supposed to be thunderstorms but those held off as well as we were glued to the hourly forecast for the previous 24 hours and watched it shift thankfully in our favor!
We headed to Quarton Lake and got this gorgeous image:
And of course we have a little more behind the scenes fun from the Instagram Live – the replay resides on our YouTube channel (make sure you’re subscribed)!
We’ll leave you with one more full length photo of our girl:
What a great session!!! Camryn was in command indeed and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

Let’s bring on Blake!!! Blake is our newest spokesmodel for the class of 2020 representing the Birmingham Groves Falcons! We actually met Blake and his mom Ellory officially together for the first time on a face time call and we laughed a lot even with Blake being a little under the weather at the time so we knew this would work. We are running close to the end of the junior year so we were happy to luck out and get great weather to get a session in with some location photos at the Franklin Cider Mill, but we also started with some photos in the studio so we’ll begin with those:
Bring On Blake…
We kept these simple on the black backdrop and we’ll show one in color here….
….and one in black and white!
Blake was a piece of cake to photograph – Ally commented that he’s a natural – a photogenic dude!
We also have some fun behind the scenes action first from Facebook Live:
At this point we headed over to the Franklin Cider Mill which is actually a great place for pictures when it’s off season – such a classic place and they were very happy to let us take photos there when we asked them permission a few years back. It’s very typical for our seniors to do a combination of studio and on location images…
Love this shot…
We have another behind the scenes vid – this time with the raw feed from our Instagram livestream:
And we’ll leave you with this one at the tree that we really like:
And there you have it – Blake BROUGHT it!!! Good kid – we’re happy to have him and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with him!

Ava is a character and we are huge fans. We had so much fun with her, and her photos? OMG. She’s a pro – tons of style and sass and the day we spent with her and her mom Stacie whom we went to high school with was one we won’t soon forget! A great time in Detroit and we can’t wait to do it again on her senior session. We are pleased to have her representing our studio at Bloomfield Hills High School for the class of 2020! Let’s get to the photos…
All About Ava
Our plan was to go to Belle Isle first and this was where the adventure started… the ramp to get onto I-75 south from I-94 was closed so we ended up heading in the opposite direction which put us right by an industrial center where we have taken some images before so we figured while we were there we would get a few….
And wow. Right off the bat Ava was in the zone – what a gorgeous image.
After a little time there we headed back down to our original destination and…..they were setting up for the Grand Prix. Ugh! No worries – we still got our skyline image that has become popular for Detroit sessions and we have a little fun behind the scenes from our livestream on Facebook:
And here is the result:
Detroit and Ava vs. Everybody!
Next we headed over to Eastern Market to get a few photos on a particular wall that we love (after a lunch break at Chili Mustard Onions – YUM).
As you can imagine we had a really tough time narrowing down photos from this session… Ava looked fantastic!
We also have more behind the scenes this time from the livestream we did on Instagram!
Last but not least after bouncing around the D a little more we made it back to the studio for a few photos on the black backdrop (most of our seniors do a combination of studio and location for their sessions) and we’ll leave you with this stunner…
Great one to end on! We were all about Ava that day indeed and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

Katie Krushed it! Yes she indeedy did, and we were so excited to have her here – we’ve known Katie as we said during the livestream since she was “pre-Katie”!!! In the womb LOL…. Katie’s parents Kelly and Tim are dear friends of ours so the surrealness continues and this time was a pretty cool first because Katie is leading the way as our very first Clarkston Wolf spokesmodel! The weather hadn’t quite warmed up yet and we still had a new studio backdrop to play with so we stayed indoors for this one. Let’s get to the highlights:
Katie Krushed It
We started out on the grey fabric which we’ve actually had for a while but it seems to have been a while since we’ve used it so…
Love the fun full length with the ripped jeans!
We also have some fun behind the scenes action first from the Instagram Live broadcast as we went with the new green polka dot backdrop which we really like!
And here is the result:
Gorgeous!!! And just love the colors.
Next we broke out the red Victorian couch and the damask backdrop to go with a dress that actually kind of matched and it looks so cool!
Here’s more behind the scenes from this setup this time from the Facebook Live broadcast!
The last one we’ll leave you with is the black with just a little blowy… one of our classic moves:
Love the color and those eyes on that girl!
And there you have it – Katie Krushed it indeed and we hope you liked the highlights – an awesome first for the Clarkston Wolves!

So far we have highlighted 8 – count ’em – 8 senior spokesmodel GIRLS from the upcoming class of 2019. So now it’s time for the 2019 spokesmodel GUYS – Josh and Tony who are buds and bad dudes. Today the focus is on Josh who is a Walled Lake Central Viking, a lacrosse player and potentially a future attorney…
We had a pretty hilarious and productive day with Josh and his mom Amy and we got some great photos indoors and on location so let’s get to ’em!
2019 Spokesmodel Guys – Josh
We started on location in the morning. Morning sessions begin outside while the sun is lower in the sky… Here’s a simple seated photo of our guy…
At this point we relocated and went live on Instagram for some behind the scenes fun! Here’s the replay from our YouTube channel!
And here’s a close up result:
Handsome dude!
Back to the studio…
Now it was time to get SERIOUS…. Suit and tie time!!! We often photograph our formal guys on the grey paper – we just like the way it looks.
At this point we went live again – this time on Facebook for some more behind the scenes:
And we’ll leave you with the photo that could be the consensus favorite – lol…
How great is that?
Josh was a great jump-off point for the class of 2019 spokesmodel guys! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our morning with him. Tony will close it out next….

We are in awe of Audrey! We were certainly awed by her on her spokesmodel session – what a cool human. We actually have so much in common with this family it’s scary… They’ve rescued a bunch of cats – so did we and we still have a couple of them. Audrey’s dad is in a band. So is Doug. They don’t eat meat. We don’t either…. It just seemed like the planets aligned for us to meet them and Audrey’s mom Michelle is as cool as Audrey – the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Audrey herself is a sharp cookie with personality to burn – we gotta say we think we really recruited well for this year’s spokesmodel crew!!! With Audrey we are also extra excited because she’s our very FIRST Troy Athens Redhawk!!!
Awed By Audrey
So Audrey came ready to roll on a day where the weather forecast kept changing. It was supposed to be a total rainout, and then it wasn’t, but then it did rain, but then it stopped….. sheesh. We were prepared to just go all studio but as you’ll see we did make it outside in the end. We’ll start with the studio though on the black background with the black couch which is a look we love – especially with Audrey’s contrasting blonde hair:
Love that one!
Next we broke out our grey fabric for the first time with this class of 2019 spokesmodel crew. We have two greys – the paper and the fabric and we like both a lot. We also did a little behind the scenes livestreaming for this part on Facebook Live – take a look by clicking on the video below!
And here is one of the grey background results…
Stunning.
Dodging the Downpour
Just before Audrey and Michelle arrived at the studio it was pouring outside – we can hear it from the roof above our studio when it comes down hard. We thought we weren’t going outdoors at all. But then it stopped and the forecast was showing only “cloudy” with 5%-15% chance of rain the rest of the day. So we went out. Right when we got to our location it started raining again and we decided to wait it out for a little bit as we saw our opportunity slipping away…. we were in two cars and we had a group text going…
Hehe….
But lo and behold just when we were about to call it a day the rain stopped! We sprung into action and got a couple more gems – we even got in another livestream on Instagram!
Here’s our fun behind the scenes Instagram Live which skips a little because the signal wasn’t great…
We’ll leave you with one more from outside – we were happy to get these because Spring is finally arriving and there’s a little color out there now….
And there you have it! We were certainly Awed by Audrey – we can’t wait to get her in front of Ally’s camera again for her senior pictures!

Chloe is the third senior we’ve “borrowed” (hehe) from this family to put in front of Ally’s camera after sisters Alayna & Emily, but the third time is a charm since she’s the first spokesmodel from this fam! All these girls are delightful so it’s not a surprise that Chloe is carrying on the tradition so well, it’s just cool that we get to photograph her twice! Today we’re highlighting a few images from her spokesmodel session and the great day we had with her and her mom Krista as she represents the Birmingham Groves class of 2019!
Third Time’s A Charm….Named Chloe
We wanted to get a few photos in the studio first so we went with the black and blowy which we are doing with every spokesmodel…
Love that…
Next we broke out our pink backdrop which usually makes a couple of appearances in each senior class and we have some fun behind the scenes on this one from Facebook Live!
And here’s a pink pic:
Yassssss.
At this point we headed outside – first to one of our favorite nature preserves for a few photos on a set of flat rocks we call “The Slab”:
And we have more behind the scenes fun from this part of the session from our Instagram Live – this is the raw video without comments from our YouTube Channel.
The last photo we’ll share was at the end of the session and involved a little adventure – a passerby suggested we walk about a “fifth” of a mile down the pathway to a “decking” with a great view. It was more like a mile, we wouldn’t say it was a “decking” even though we’re not totally sure what a “decking” is supposed to be, and it wasn’t much of a view. We were a little salty. BUT – we still got a couple of amazing photos on the trail and this one is definitely one of our favorites from the day!!!
Wowsers! Just stunning….
And that’s a great one to finish with! The third time was definitely a charm with Chloe and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

When we asked our son Tony who is a junior at Bloomfield Hills High School who did he think would be a perfect spokesmodel at his school – a girl who is nice, social, well liked, smart and fun with a little extra online influence perhaps, the first name he spoke was Kaitlyn. He was spot on! This girl is amazing. Sharp, sweet and with an infectious laugh like no one’s business, she is perfect! And her spokesmodel session was perfect too! It wasn’t easy – while the light was great the wind was not. It was windy as all get out down in the D which can pose a challenge for a girl with long hair, and it wasn’t exactly warm either, but Kaitlyn still rocked it and produced some of the images that we know will prove to live on as Frameable iconic photos. So let’s get to it!
Detroit Takeover With Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn’s mom Sara is a delight as well and she came with us down to Detroit where we started off on Belle Isle as we frequently do when we head down there. The first photo we’re sharing here is the best Detroit Skyline photo we’ve taken and all it took was recognizing that we needed a different vantage point than we’ve used in the past! We couldn’t be happier with how this looks…
Gorgeous Girl!
Now we did a livestream on Instagram but were unable to record it – however we think Kaitlyn’s Snapchat story was just as good so this time we’ll start with that for some of our fun behind the scenes…
An outfit change and here we are with another closer up with our girl…
At this point we headed into downtown to the Belt Alley and got this awesome photo with these vibrant colors!
Here we have some more behind the scenes fun with our Facebook Live Video replay from the Belt – as you can see Tony actually came along with us on Kaitlyn’s session and they took a few photos together which will surface soon….. 🙂
At this point we made one more location change, heading over to some of the more ratchet areas of the Eastern Market for a little urban decay which makes for great photos! We’ll leave you with this one…
Love.
And there you have it – a spectacular spokesmodel Detroit takeover with Kaitlyn! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time with her and we cannot wait to do it again for her senior pictures soon!!!

What can we say about Tori and the hands of fate that were all over this story from how and when we found her all the way to the epic spokesmodel session with her and her mom Lora in the YAK! The “yak” would be Pontiac which is where Tori was born hehe… Let’s just say we already have multiple inside jokes and stories from our short time knowing each other – we just seemed to fit from the first minute.
It all started with Tori’s mom Lora walking into the studio and asking about senior pictures really early in the game for the class of 2019 at the urging of another senior mom we love while we were (and kinda still are) in recruiting mode for our new crew. When she told us her daughter went to West Bloomfield Ally and I looked at each other right away and both our wheels were turning… Next thing you know we had Lora and Tori come for a little pow wow and we knew immediately we wanted her on our team! The rest is his-TORI!!! See what I did there? Let’s see how many ways I can work Tori’s name into this blog post lol…
A Vic-TORI-ous Session
We decided on Pontiac as I mentioned earlier on a fairly chilly day and even with some technical difficulties with Ally’s new off camera flash we still pulled off a handful of outstanding photos! Let’s get to a few…
How adorable is she? Let’s also give a shout out here to Yasmeen at The Beauty Lounge for Tori’s makeup and Natalie at Mandy Rose Studio for Tori’s hair!
Let’s also take a look at the hilarious behind the scenes Facebook Live – we LOVE this girl…. haha!
One more photo outdoors before we move to the next phase…
Love. Great style on Tori here and we are pretty pleased with the lighting (when it worked)! That’s the nice thing about spokesmodel sessions – they are a great opportunity to try out new spots, new equipment and new techniques, and while Ally was a little frustrated fighting with the equipment we do love the results!
At this point we headed over to the Flagstar Strand Theatre which you should check out for a show if you get a chance – what a gem of a venue in downtown Pontiac and special thanks goes to them for the access. They set us up in the dressing room where we decided on a whim to get a few really fun shots of the star backstage like this one!
We played around in the theatre and got some cool stuff but the lighting and the angles we tried were a bit challenging. We’ll go back and try again at some point – you can get a sense of what we were doing in this fun Instagram Live we did from inside…
A couple of behind the scenes shots like the pano I grabbed and the shot Lora took below are pretty cool too – they give you an idea of what we were trying to do even if the finished images weren’t quite ready for prime time…
Now we’ll head outside for one more photo which could be our fave of the day with Tori in a cute winter hat…
Just love that one!!! Gorgeous girl.
And that’s a great way to end it for now – we are thrilled to have Tori representing our studio and we cannot wait to get her in front of Ally’s camera again! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day!
