Appreciating Aryx and His Doberman Garrus On A Fun Session!
What a great guy Aryx is! His dad Kevin wanted to do something for Aryx’s mom and Aryx never really had a senior picture session so it was time to get some portraits and Garrus their Doberman Pinscher even jumped in! What a great session – let’s get to some highlights!
Appreciating Aryx (and Garrus)!
Let’s start with Aryx and Garrus on the purple background – Garrus even had a matching tie!
Love it!!!
We have some fun behind the scenes too – first from Facebook where you’d never know we actually got the shot with Garrus who has plenty of energy! Hehe…
Now for a few of our featured dude:
Looking good Aryx!
The red background is a good look, and we have one more behind the scenes from Instagram where Aryx’s brother Jerich jumped in!

Krazy For Katie and Her Detroit Senior Session!
We’re Krazy for Katie! She’s funny – and smart and adorable – a senior student athlete at West Bloomfield High School and we had a blast with her, her mom Ann and her pup Bella! We did some studio work along with a jaunt down to Detroit and the whole session was a winner… let’s get to some highlights!
Krazy for Katie!
Let’s start in the studio with Katie and Bella who gave us plenty of smiles for the camera – like this one!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
We have some fiery behind the scenes from the studio as well first from Facebook:
Now let’s head to the city!
Okay how cool is that photo…? Also let’s give a shoutout to Mandy Rose Studio for Katie’s makeup!
We have more behind the scenes from Eastern Market on Instagram:

Fantastic! Yes we are Krazy for Katie and you can see why! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!
Let These Recent Seniors With Family Members Make You Smile!
Through it all – through this challenging school year we still had a fantastic “part 1” of the Class of 2021 senior pictures! We say “part 1” because there are always a few spring seniors and we figure there may be a few more than usual this year (fingers crossed) because 2020 was……..2020.
Generally when we post highlights of our sessions we focus on the senior but we do have family add-ons available and sometimes family members – maybe just a sib or a parent or a pet jumps in, so we thought we’d gather a handful of these and give them their own blog post! Lots of love in these images!!!
Seniors have Frameable Family Members!
No commentary – just family! We LOVE these peeps!
And there you have it! Wonderful families we’ve enjoyed spending time with over the past year! We hope you enjoyed the highlights!
Frameable Faces Goes To The DOGS! A Great Day and Great Cause!
Love was in the air and dogs were in the studio!!! Okay a few cats too… and what a day! We partnered up with our neighbors Premier Pet Supply down the hall who provided awesome goody bags and we donated a portion of the proceeds to iHeart Dogs Rescue and Animal Haven and Detroit Dog Rescue for pet portraits on the red couch and a couple of heart balloons for a very furry and fun Valentine’s Day!
Frameable Faces Goes To The Dogs…
So without further adieu, let’s take a look at the fur babies!
How awesome right? And here’s a little TikTok of highlights from the day…

Hanging With Jonah (and Jack) For Senior Pictures Is Our Jam!
Hanging with Jonah and Jack!
Great shot on a PERFECT weather day for us, and at this point we headed over to downtown to get more – here’s the behind the scenes on that from Instagram:
And the result:
So there you have it! Photographing Jonah (and Jack) was our jam indeed – we had a great day and we hope you enjoyed the highlights!
Matilda Waltzes In For Her Newborn – okay PUPPY – Photos!!!
I guess you could say Matilda waltzed into the studio. Or pranced. Or trotted. Whatever she did she’s cute, and she was here with her mommy Krista for her newborn pictures! With newborns it’s good if you can get them to sleep a little and Matilda was pretty chill – she did indeed nap a little and we got the shots we wanted in the basket with the pink tutu! So let’s get to the highlights shall we?
Matilda Waltzes
Okay so she’s not actually waltzing in these photos but it’s still a fun title for the blog post, and here she is just chillin’… Clearly not having a “ruff” time while we “paws” to look at this fun photo…
She’s SO cute!!!
By the way on a somewhat related note when it comes to dogs we will be participating in the WDVD Radiothon to benefit the Detroit Dog Rescue here at the mall – come by and support the first no-kill shelter in Detroit! More on that in the coming weeks:
Here’s a closeup of our girl:
At this point it was time for Matilda to close her eyes for a bit and we have some fun behind the scenes from Facebook Live:
And the results – sleeping beauty!
Pretty in pink! And we’ll leave you with one more:
And there you have it! Matilda waltzed into the studio and Krista waltzed out with some puppy lovable pics! We hope you enjoy the highlights of our morning with them!
A Fun and Frameable Family of Three (Four including Lulu)!
Okay what a fun family we have here… Just so delightful. Say hello to Giacomo, Stephanie, Lorelai……..and Lulu. Lol – Lulu the pup is hilarious – she did NOT like Doug. Like at all, but she still posed for Ally and that was the important thing and we all had a good laugh about it too! We had a lot of fun with these peeps.
Giacomo, Stephanie, Lorelai, and Lulu!
We spent part of a Saturday here at the studio with these folks and let’s get to a few highlights. We started off with some fun family photos on the white background and this first one is hilarious – everyone is smiling / laughing because Lulu was barking at Doug while he was trying to help Ally and get Lulu’s attention. So funny!
We also have some behind the scenes from the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
After that series we moved to the black backdrop for some individual / couple images.
Here’s a fabulous one of Lorelai by herself:
She’s adorable!
And here’s one of Lorelai together with Lulu!
How great is that one?
We’ll leave you with this really nice one of Giacomo and Stephanie together…
Such a happy couple and a happy day!
We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with this fabulous and Frameable Fam!
Ally Photographing Ally! Does It Get Any Better For A Senior Session?
Ally photographing Ally is about as good as it gets. Especially this Ally since her mom Teri was inspired by our Ally to use the name Ally for her daughter! So with this senior session the circle of life is complete!!! Haha… Ally is also a legacy here since we photographed her sister Julia, so a fun day was definitely in store and a fun day we had. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights!
Ally Photographing Ally
We had a great game plan simply because summertime in West Bloomfield is beautiful and we had a great day for it. We focused on location photos, starting out bouncing around a couple of natural settings like this one:
Love it and Ally looks beautiful!
Of course we have some fun behind the scenes first from Facebook Live (the video might be choppy – we’re not sure why):
There’s a bog we like as well that during a certain window of time is covered with algae and it looks really cool as a backdrop:
Pretty nice huh?
At this point we headed to a lake to finish up and the session went to the dogs…
Love when the pets jump in! That’s Black and White Baby Joe!!!
We also have the Snapchat story from the day for some more behind the scenes action:
We’ll leave you with this final photo of Ally getting in the water!
Love it. And love Ally photographing Ally! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!
Pamela, Michael and GEORGE! A Doggone Great Session!
Pamela had been here in our studio before for some headshots and she is a delightful gal! So when she called us to come back to the studio we were excited – even more so when she informed us that she would be bringing her hubby Michael and their French Bulldog George!!! You have to love French Bulldogs, and George is a character – we knew this would make for a doggone great session!
Doggone Great…
This session was done totally in the studio and we started out with a Detroit Tiger theme which really works with our orange chair! George was totally coordinated with Pamela and Michael and ready to roll – here’s a full length family portrait to start with…
So fun right?
Now we’ll zoom in for a couple closer crops…
George was getting plenty of lovin’! Happy pup!
We also have some great behind the scenes fun from the shoot where we get up close and personal with George with the replay of our live Periscope broadcast! If you want to join in the fun on our channel on Periscope you can do it by following us at @FrameableFaces here or if you are on twitter and just want to watch from there you can at this link.

Let’s get back to a couple more photos now – one more close up this time just of the happy couple!
How cute are they?
And now we have an outfit change and the black couch for a little bit more formal look:
George was stylin’!!! And there you have it – you have to agree with us that these photos are indeed doggone great! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time with Pamela, Michael and George!
