All About Ava And Her Amazing Senior Spokesmodel Session!
Ava is a character and we are huge fans. We had so much fun with her, and her photos? OMG. She’s a pro – tons of style and sass and the day we spent with her and her mom Stacie whom we went to high school with was one we won’t soon forget! A great time in Detroit and we can’t wait to do it again on her senior session. We are pleased to have her representing our studio at Bloomfield Hills High School for the class of 2020! Let’s get to the photos…
All About Ava
Our plan was to go to Belle Isle first and this was where the adventure started… the ramp to get onto I-75 south from I-94 was closed so we ended up heading in the opposite direction which put us right by an industrial center where we have taken some images before so we figured while we were there we would get a few….
And wow. Right off the bat Ava was in the zone – what a gorgeous image.
After a little time there we headed back down to our original destination and…..they were setting up for the Grand Prix. Ugh! No worries – we still got our skyline image that has become popular for Detroit sessions and we have a little fun behind the scenes from our livestream on Facebook:
We also have more behind the scenes this time from the livestream we did on Instagram!
Jordan Is A Jewel And She’s Our New Spokesmodel at West Bloomfield HS!

It’s Cold Out Here – There Must Be Some Maddie In The Atmosphere!
Not to be taken too literally or seriously, this title (referring to a cheer with a long history) refers to how chilly it was the day we went outside to photograph Maddie’s spokesmodel session and how COOL calm and collected Maddie was despite the cold! Maddie is another Walled Lake Northern Knight and the other nights were both indoor sessions, so we (okay I) really wanted outdoor photos. And despite me ruining my shoes by stepping in a mud puddle and the wind blowing over a tripod and breaking a photo umbrella I’m still glad we did it, because the photos are great Indeed, and well, dang it it’s SUPPOSED to be warmer by now! So yes, it’s cold out here, there must be some Maddie in the atmosphere! Haha…
Maddie in the atmosphere
Maddie’s mom Lisa joined us for the day and we actually started in the studio – we haven’t featured much of our fun furniture yet for the class of 2020 so we wanted to get some of that done too. So even though the setup was all about the outdoor shots, let’s start with the studio:
So adorable!!! We call that chair “The Throne” and Maddie rocks it with the yellow top on the white backdrop!
Next we moved to the black couch with the black backdrop and we fired up a livestream on Facebook for some fun behind the scenes! Take a look:
And the result:
Love it!
Now let’s get to those outdoor pics! They really came out great and this is typical in that many of our seniors will do a combination of studio and on location photos during their session.
So cute! And we also have more behind the scenes fun from the livestream we did on Instagram:
And we’ll leave you with one of those as our last image for now:
So pretty! And there you have it – it was cold out here but it was because Maddie was in the atmosphere! We hope you enjoyed the highlights!
A-lovin’ Havin’ Alivia Represent Frameable Faces As A Spokesmodel!
Ahhh Spring is finally (kinda) in the air here in Michigan and we were able to get outside for a class of 2020 spokesmodel session! Couldn’t be more pleased to do that with Alivia who is adorable, an athlete, and a Bloomfield Hills Blackhawk!!! We’ve gotten to know some of this fam over the last couple years at BHHS as our son Tony has been a football teammate of both of her brothers, and her parents are great – her mom Rhonda joined us on the session and she is a delight. We did a little bit in the studio as well as on location for this session so let’s get to a few highlights shall we?
A’Lovin’ Alivia
We started out in the studio on the black background to get some blowy 🌬 and some fiery 🔥 and well, wow. Alivia just crushed it. Here’s the setup with the fun behind the scenes livestream on Facebook Live – click on this and get a little chuckle… and be sure to give our page a “like”!
Here’s the awesome fiery result:
Okay that is bad ass.
At this point we headed on location and this is quite typical of our seniors where we’ll spend some time on a session in the studio AND on location – both options are included in our session fee at no additional charge with the exception of longer distances such as Detroit or Ann Arbor (also very popular).
As for Alivia, we love this closeup of her – a natural beauty!
Whoa! Beautiful.
Alivia changed outfits too – how about some pretty in pink?
We also have some fun behind the scenes from our livestream on Instagram which you can click and see below – Alivia is just such a natural on camera!
And we’ll leave you with this one with the brick. Sometimes the breeze gives you a perfect lift!
And there you have it! A’lovin’ Alivia indeed – we are thrilled to have her as part of our crew! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!
Katie Krushed Her Spokesmodel Studio Session for the Class of 2020!
Katie Krushed it! Yes she indeedy did, and we were so excited to have her here – we’ve known Katie as we said during the livestream since she was “pre-Katie”!!! In the womb LOL…. Katie’s parents Kelly and Tim are dear friends of ours so the surrealness continues and this time was a pretty cool first because Katie is leading the way as our very first Clarkston Wolf spokesmodel! The weather hadn’t quite warmed up yet and we still had a new studio backdrop to play with so we stayed indoors for this one. Let’s get to the highlights:
Katie Krushed It
We started out on the grey fabric which we’ve actually had for a while but it seems to have been a while since we’ve used it so…
Love the fun full length with the ripped jeans!
We also have some fun behind the scenes action first from the Instagram Live broadcast as we went with the new green polka dot backdrop which we really like!
And here is the result:
Gorgeous!!! And just love the colors.
Next we broke out the red Victorian couch and the damask backdrop to go with a dress that actually kind of matched and it looks so cool!
Here’s more behind the scenes from this setup this time from the Facebook Live broadcast!
The last one we’ll leave you with is the black with just a little blowy… one of our classic moves:
Love the color and those eyes on that girl!
And there you have it – Katie Krushed it indeed and we hope you liked the highlights – an awesome first for the Clarkston Wolves!
Doin’ The Spokesmodeling Thing For The Class of 2020 With Dana!
Here we are rolling along into the class of 2020 spokesmodel sessions and we’re staying at Walled Lake Northern for this one as we say hello to Dana!!! Dana is a legacy since her older brother Nick had one of the most epic senior sessions of all time, so we are thrilled to have her and her awesome mom Paola back to the studio! Dana is totes adorbs and we had some more new backdrops to play with so let’s get to it…
Doin’ The Spokesmodeling Thing With Dana!
We started out with this very cool distressed wood backdrop and Dana rocked it – love her outfit choices too – there are no major rules on that. It’s all about what you like and your style!
Beautiful!
We also have some fun behind the scenes from our time with Dana and Paola – first from Facebook Live:
And here is the result from the pink damask with the floor setup – we love the way this turned out!
Love!
Next we have this mottled olive which also looks fantastic!
Dana is adorable.
We have some more behind the scenes too and this one was fun on Instagram Live as one of our spokesmodels from the class of 2014 Emily Brent showed up in the livestream – Emily was Dana’s camp counselor! So fun – Dana’s reaction is priceless!
And here is the result we’ll leave you with on the fiery red fabric backdrop…
And there you have it! The class of 2020 is already rocking it and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our session with Dana!
Senior Spokesmodeling With Sedona to Kickoff The Class of 2020!
It’s that time of year when we start photographing our new spokesmodel crew and it’s weird to say that the Class of 2020 is on its way! Wow… This is always a fun time for us because this is our team that we assemble each year to represent our studio and what better way to start it off than with Sedona whom we’ve known pretty much her whole life and some new backdrops in the studio!
Sedona Kicks of the 2020 Spokesmodels…
This isn’t Sedona’s first time on this blog either – we (our event photographer Angela) photographed her bat mitzvah a few years back and man does time fly. She did a fantastic job on this session and she’ll be representing us at Walled Lake Northern High School. So let’s get to the photos shall we?
This is the first of three backdrops we used for the first time on this day and we love the olive earth tones here with the burnt orange top – Sedona looks awesome!
We also have some behind the scenes fun too – we like for you to see how these go and catch the vibe if you will – we have fun here! If you’re not having a little fun then what’s the point right? First we have the Instagram Live replay…
Now let’s take a look at a couple more backdrops and outfits!
So cute! Ripped jeans, barn door – got a little of that rustic country feel going! Love the way that looks.
That white-washed wood is another new one and Sedona was slaying the game at this point!
Let’s get in one more behind the scenes vid for a little more fun this time from our Facebook Live:
We’ll leave you with this one on our black backdrop:
Just a nice simple pose to finish it off – Sedona is a rockstar! And there you have it! Look for more spokesmodels coming your way over the next couple of months – we are so excited for the 2020 crew!
The Highlights Of Ian’s Senior Session Tell A Story Indeed!
Telling a good story is important. It makes life fun and interesting! You might say we tell stories here through our photos and Ally is quite talented at doing so. That was certainly the case when Ian visited the studio and we weren’t surprised since we’ve known this kid for many years. He’s a funny dude and the whole family is great – they are friends of ours and we’ve photographed all of them before at one time or another. The thing is, on this day we took the whole storytelling notion a step further. Ian’s spirit animal got involved and we kicked it up a notch. Ian’s senior session tells a story indeed! But more on that later…. For now we’ll just start with a few photos:
Ian’s Session Tells A Story Indeed…
This was an all-studio session which is typically nice and chill. Let’s get a look at our guy…
Looking good! Ally loves when guys are in a pink tone…
We also have some fun behind the scenes action first from Facebook Live:
Here’s another one this time in black and white:
Ally got him – looks like he’s got a giggle coming on…
Here’s a cool one on the black backdrop…
And now here is where the story really takes a turn…. hehe.
We have a big stuffed Garfield here at the studio – we’re not even really sure why, but Ian’s mom Emma spotted it and said she thinks Garfield is Ian’s “spirit animal” so we all decided that Garfield should be in on the action. As a matter of fact we pulled up a settee for Garfield to sit on while Ian read a very inappropriate comic book created by the man responsible for the Doug & Ally Morning Show logo – the Artful Doodler himself from the U.K. – Rich Nairn! Ian read Dr. Ripper’s Sinister Shipmates to Garfield in a setting with story time piano music and, well…. you just have to see it for yourself. Here is the replay from our Periscope broadcast… LOL!
It’s @RichNairn’s Sinister Shipmates story time for Garfield with Ian on his senior picture session…. HEY NOW 🐙 https://t.co/4MnUQUrspD

A wonderful story indeed!
And there you have it! A fun time was had by all and we got some fantastic photos out of it too! We hope you enjoyed the highlights!
Our Own Senior Tony Takes on the Big Apple and The Brooklyn Bridge!
Time to share some photos from our very own senior who makes us so proud! It’s Tony Time! We’re actually not even done with Tony yet – as with Lacey we’re kinda taking advantage of being the photographers for our own kids senior pics. We’ve already done a spokesmodel session with him and there will probably be one more session for Tony. But in the meantime we decided that New York City could be a cool location for Tony’s session, and more specifically the Brooklyn Bridge! We’d never actually walked across it before so we thought we would give it a shot. It was certainly a little tricky – lots of people to navigate but we got it done. We also hit a couple spots in Westchester County on the Hudson River and in a forest. We’re pretty pumped to share these so let’s get to it:
Tony On The Brooklyn Bridge!
We actually parked in Brooklyn so we could photograph towards Manhattan and it was a little busy and a little chilly but our lighting was great (a great sundown orange sky and off camera flash) and we got some great photos!
Looking good with Lady Liberty against the orange sky…
We also have plenty of fun behind the scenes and you’ll see how hectic it was for us! First from Facebook:
Here’s a cool one where you really get a nice view of the bridge with our guy:
Here’s some more behind the scenes from the Instagram broadcast…
We were staying with friends in Westchester County on this trip and the next day we headed up to a couple scenic spots in the woods and on the Hudson River. First at Dobbs Ferry…
We also have a few Snapchat highlights where you can get a sense of the scenic spot on the Hudson River!
We’ll leave you with one more close up in another natural setting:
So there you have it! A very cool experience for us to be able to get these awesome shots of our own in New York! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time in the Big Apple!
