Jessica justifies admiration for sure – we’ve been aware of Jessica for a quite a while, highlighting her group Sib4Sib on our newsletter a while back. Now in doing her senior pictures we’ve gotten to know her more, and she’s a really special kid with a mission. Sib4Sib is described this way in the about section at Sib4Sib.org:
Wow right? This girl is making a difference in the world. Meanwhile she is a North Farmington Raider like us, and she is a lot of fun – she had an epic take on Mona Lisa for her student ID which cracked us up and we were looking forward to her senior session, so let’s get to a few highlights!
A shout out here goes to Lisa North for Jessica’s makeup – Jessica brought her to the studio early to do the makeup here and so we made another connection – Lisa is a sweetheart and did a fantastic job on Jessica!
Let’s start in the studio with the black and blowy setup:
Stunning!
We also have a little behind the scenes with Jessica talking about Sib4Sib a little bit from Facebook – take a look:
At this point we headed out on location to Birmingham and here are a few highlights:
Adorable.
….and we’ll leave you with this last one up close and personal!
Love it!!!
You can get an idea of why Jessica justifies admiration indeed and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!
Kendall gives us a kaleidoscope of feels which pretty much means that we really like her. Okay it goes beyond that – we have history with her family going back over 30 years now and we detailed some of that in the blog post for her spokesmodel session back in June! Kendall has been our first spokesmodel representing Ann Arbor Skyline High School and we really enjoy having her in front of Ally’s camera!!! We actually broke this one up into two different days to fit it into our schedules – Kendall and Sarah wanted some studio pics but we also love any excuse to head up to Ann Arbor so we did both! Let’s get to the highlights:
The first day we were in the studio and here we have Kendall on the red Victorian couch on the black backdrop!
Here’s the fun behind the scenes from that photo from our Facebook Livestream!
For the second day as mentioned before we made the trek up to Ann Arbor to hang with Kendall, her mom Sarah, and her little sis Harper! We had a perfect day:
Gorgeous – back at the law quad at U of M where Kendall will be attending and playing volleyball next year!
Meanwhile there was a wall that caught our eye on a recent trip to Ann Arbor and we decided to use it for a few photos – it looks GREAT and here’s the fun behind the scenes from Instagram:
And the result:
Love that red!
We’ll leave you with one more from a park we never knew existed – so cool:
And there you have it – Kendall gave us all the feels – a kaleidoscope of them if you will! Ha! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day(s) with her!
And one of the results…
At this point we did a little relocation for a few more scenes and the awesomeness continued – Alivia killed it!
I guess you could say Matilda waltzed into the studio. Or pranced. Or trotted. Whatever she did she’s cute, and she was here with her mommy Krista for her newborn pictures! With newborns it’s good if you can get them to sleep a little and Matilda was pretty chill – she did indeed nap a little and we got the shots we wanted in the basket with the pink tutu! So let’s get to the highlights shall we?
Okay so she’s not actually waltzing in these photos but it’s still a fun title for the blog post, and here she is just chillin’… Clearly not having a “ruff” time while we “paws” to look at this fun photo…
She’s SO cute!!!
By the way on a somewhat related note when it comes to dogs we will be participating in the WDVD Radiothon to benefit the Detroit Dog Rescue here at the mall – come by and support the first no-kill shelter in Detroit! More on that in the coming weeks:
Here’s a closeup of our girl:
At this point it was time for Matilda to close her eyes for a bit and we have some fun behind the scenes from Facebook Live:
And the results – sleeping beauty!
Pretty in pink! And we’ll leave you with one more:
And there you have it! Matilda waltzed into the studio and Krista waltzed out with some puppy lovable pics! We hope you enjoy the highlights of our morning with them!
Next we hit up a spot that we’ve never used before – these painted cement barrel type things…. lol! We LOVE this one:
So cool!!!
In staying with the color texture theme we have this next one, where there is something about the wind blown look that we think is really appealing. Just a moment captured where Izzy looks so beautiful.
At this point we headed to Belle Isle and listen, these were really hard to choose to share for this post… We actually went to the graffiti bridge for some fun and we livestreamed there, but we’ve posted photos on the blog from there before and the last photo we’ll share is undeniable with the purple dress and purple flowers… First the Instagram LIVE at the bridge:
Beautiful!!! And a shout out here to Natalie on hair and Farah on makeup at Mandy Rose Studio for the outstanding job!
We also have some fun behind the scenes from our day first from the Facebook LIVE:
And here’s a stunning image with that outfit…
Love it!
One more from Quarton Lake before we headed on into downtown Birmingham, and how cool is a senior who wears a Ramones shirt to her session???
Hey, ho, let’s go……to downtown Birmingham…. lol!
Here’s a little more behind the scenes fun this time from Instagram:
And we’ll leave you with this one in the city….
So pretty!
And there you have it! There’s no doubt Josie is indeed a Josie, and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!
Elisha is an eyeful of adorable indeed – just a sweetheart and she and her mom Tammy joined us on a perfect day in Birmingham for her senior pictures! This was not their first time in the studio since we did some family portraits for them some time back, so it was a pleasure to have them back to Frameable Faces! A great way for Ally to spend part of her birthday – doing what she loves with good people! Quarton Lake was the gameplan for Elisha and we made it happen, but we’ll start in the studio…
For the studio pictures we kept it pretty simple and we’ll highlight this photo on the white backdrop:
See? Adorable!
We also have a little fun behind the scenes first from Facebook LIVE:
At this point it was time to head out on location to Birmingham where a ton of flowers were in bloom and the conditions were perfect!
Gorgeous.
We also have more behind the scenes fun from Birmingham from our Instagram livestream:
And here come the flowers…
Love the purple top with the purple flower!
And we’ll leave you this relaxed pose:
So pretty!
And there you have it – Elisha definitely gave us an eyeful of adorable on this day, and we hope you enjoyed the highlights!
We love Emma. She is just a burst of personality and total adorable-ness, and on top of that she’s clearly my spirit animal – we totally bonded over American history and that’s pretty much what we talked about while her mom Tara and Ally sat and watched during her consultation. We decided we’re going to go for coffee and talk about history one day lol! To that end, Emma had a plan for her love of books to be a part of her senior session and she had scoped out the venerable John K King Bookstore in Detroit as an essential locale in our plan – she even contacted the store where they were more than accommodating in letting us photograph there! This turned out to be the beginning of an EPIC day that ended up at our fave Chili Mustard Onions for dinner! So let’s get to what happened at the bookstore and more highlights in between as Emma Elevates the senior picture game!
John K King is a massive bookstore of used books that you MUST visit if you haven’t before. Here’s the behind the scenes Facebook LIVE broadcast where you can tell how giddy we were about photographing there!
And one of the results…
How beautiful! Emma looks amazing and it’s just such a cool photo that really captures a big part of who she is.
From there we headed over to Belle Isle where Emma and Tara had another great prop in store….
How fun is the bicycle and the flowers in the basket? The sky opened up right after this photo with a blast of rain as we scurried back to the car to wait it out. We just lucked out on that… it didn’t last long and it left behind a gorgeous rainbow in the sky.
We headed over to the edge of the island to get a skyline photo of Detroit and this one with the off-camera flash is awesome – it’s just more of Emma elevating…
Last but not least we headed over to Eastern Market for the murals and there’s a funny fruit mural Emma likes a lot so we used that one. Here’s the behind the scenes from Instagram LIVE (including a “Tara takeover” where Tara took over the broadcast)!
Dana dazzles indeed in these highlights from her senior session but we’re not surprised – she’s a spokesmodel for us this year for the Walled Lake Northern Knights, we’ve known her for a couple years now and we had great fun with her for her spokesmodel session! When we photographed her in March we were in the studio the whole time so this time we got to go on location and we had a perfect day! Her mom Paola joined us and we LOVE Paola so it made for a great outing – a dynamite session!
Birmingham was the spot – Quarton Lake specifically, so let’s get to some pics:
She’s adorable! Let’s give a shout out to Farah at Mandy Rose Studio for the makeup and Lida at Pannos Salon for Dana’s hair too!
We also have some fun behind the scenes from the day starting with Instagram LIVE:
Moving right along with an outfit change:
Gorgeous. Like we said this was just a dynamite session….
Wow….
Let’s see a little more behind the scenes fun this time from Facebook:
And we’ll leave you with this last one…
So yeah…..Dana dazzles – no doubt about that, and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!
