You’ve heard of Syd Vicious? Well say hello to Syd-licious! We can call her that because we’ve known her since she was in Kindergarten with our Tony and now she’s a beautiful smart, nice, funny young lady!!! Weird how that happens. She’s been in front of Ally’s camera before…..a DECADE ago!
Exhibit A:
She was sooo cute!!!
…and now she’s gorgeous!
Syd-Licious
We had such a great day with Syd, her mom Bec and little sister Hayden! Like old times.
We also have some fun behind the scenes for you first from the Instagram Live replay!

We love this kid – he’s been a buddy of our Tony for years and he’s a great kid – and he’s a character in a good way. Thinking about him can make us smile – Elan epitomizes character, as in he has it and he IS it! We’ve spent plenty of time with his mom Julie over the years too – in the bleachers at swim meets, football games and even in her chair at her office (she’s our dentist)! These guys were the first to call us for the class of 2019 so we had this on our radar and our calendar for a long time and we had fun…!!!
Elan Epitomizes Character…
We did a combo of studio and location work with Elan and we’ll start in the studio:
Now that’s a dapper dude…
We also have some fun behind the scenes action – first with the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
At this point we headed out on location for a few – first with a cool textured wall that we like, and some photos just look good in black and white like this one!
Next we wanted some natural settings so we’ll finish with these:
Digging the flannel!
We also have the behind the scenes Snapchat story for you here with a few fun filters too…
And we’ll leave you with one more up close and personal!
And there you have it! Elan epitomizes character and it comes through in the photos! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with him!

Ally photographing Ally is about as good as it gets. Especially this Ally since her mom Teri was inspired by our Ally to use the name Ally for her daughter! So with this senior session the circle of life is complete!!! Haha… Ally is also a legacy here since we photographed her sister Julia, so a fun day was definitely in store and a fun day we had. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights!
Ally Photographing Ally
We had a great game plan simply because summertime in West Bloomfield is beautiful and we had a great day for it. We focused on location photos, starting out bouncing around a couple of natural settings like this one:
Love it and Ally looks beautiful!
Of course we have some fun behind the scenes first from Facebook Live (the video might be choppy – we’re not sure why):
There’s a bog we like as well that during a certain window of time is covered with algae and it looks really cool as a backdrop:
Pretty nice huh?
At this point we headed to a lake to finish up and the session went to the dogs…
Love when the pets jump in! That’s Black and White Baby Joe!!!
We also have the Snapchat story from the day for some more behind the scenes action:
We’ll leave you with this final photo of Ally getting in the water!
Love it. And love Ally photographing Ally! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

It’s time for the Jack Attack!!! As in Jack’s senior pics in Detroit where we had an epic day! Jack is a legacy here which is always fun since we photographed his big sis Kylie too a couple years ago! With Jack we hit a bunch of spots including some Pie-Sci Pizza which is becoming our go to – we love hanging in Detroit! Jack’s mom Kelly joined as well, so let’s get to the highlights shall we?
Jack Attack in the D
We started out at Belle Isle and we used the fountain with a new angle that we haven’t used before for a really cool photo of Jack with the fountain way in the distance…
Love this – pretty sure we’ll be doing this again – it will be known as “The Jack” shot.
We also have some behind the scenes first from the replay of our Instagram Live broadcast:
We also grabbed a photo of Jack on the red bridge that we really like there before moving on to get some murals…
At this point we headed over to the Eastern Market to get some photos of Jack with some murals and we discovered this huge one of some of Jack’s favorite hip hop artists – we’re including it here as an extra for fun – Jack is small in the photo but the whole thing is pretty sweet – check it out:
And here we have some behind the scenes this time from Facebook Live before we get to a couple more photos:
Fun right? Okay two more photos:
Lots of great spots to photograph in the D…
And there you have it – the Detroit takeover with the Jack Attack! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with him!

Kilowatts are units of energy and it’s an appropriate word to describe the awesomeness that is Kaitlyn. She’s a bundle of infectious personality and energy and we just LOVE her. We’ve said this before but we’ll say it again – she’s one of our all time favorite people and we couldn’t think of anyone better to photograph on Ally’s birthday! Kaitlyn and her mom Sara even brought us Yummy Cupcakes to celebrate!
What’s funny is the timing of this has me (Doug) writing this on MY birthday which has me smiling too! Kaitlyn is representing our studio this year as a spokesmodel at Bloomfield Hills High School at our son Tony’s suggestion and he was spot on with that recommendation. We had an epic spokesmodel session with Kaitlyn in Detroit and we couldn’t wait to get her in front of Ally’s camera again! But could we top it??? A million kilowatts of awesomeness with Kaitlyn would suggest a resounding YES!!!
A Million Kilowatts Of Awesomeness With Kaitlyn
The last time Katilyn was here we got some studio stuff along with the Detroit pics and this time we decided to spend all of our quality time outside for some natural scenery – of course we upped the ante a bit which we’ll get to but we’ll start in the meadow:
So beautiful with the pop of color!
We also have some behind the scenes fun starting with the Instagram Live replay where you can see I had a little fun with Sara – and who by the way is totally delightful which comes as no surprise as Kaitlyn’s mom.
As a little bonus here is a bit of twitter trolling from the video above… hehe….
LOL.
At this point it was time to add some KILOWATTS OF AWESOMENESS to the session.
Wow.
And if that weren’t enough, we finished with Kaitlyn IN the water!!! First here is the behind the scenes replay of the Facebook Live broadcast:
And now….. well we’ll let these speak for themselves.
Just stunning!
One of our favorite sessions ever. We’re going to include the Snapchat Story here too while we’re at it:
So there you go… such a wonderful day and fantastic session. A million kilowatts of awesomeness with Kaitlyn! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

Twin baby sisters are such a special treat especially when they’re newborns! Emma and Elena came to the studio with mom and dad Elyse and Erik and they were so adorable!!! They were very easy to photograph too – they spent most of the time sleeping which is perfect for photographing newborns. So let’s get right to the preciousness!
Twin Baby Sisters Are Twice As Nice
We’ll kick it off with this one of the two holding hands in black and white! So connected.
Beautiful.
Okay how awesome are they?
We also have some fun behind the scenes from the Facebook Live replay – check it out:
Now for a couple of individual photos:
So precious…
And one last one – it’s a tricky photo to get but when you can make it work the results are priceless!
And there you have it – twice as nice indeed! We loved having the girls here and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our morning with them!

Yes Jenna generated some magic on her senior session – that’s for sure… We’ve known Jenna for a long time and she’s a legacy here at Frameable Faces since we photographed her brother Noah a couple years ago! We had a great day for it and we went for a combo of studio and nature and the results are, well, magical!
Jenna Generated Some Magic
Jenna’s mom Susan came along and we had a blast. We started on location to make sure we beat some possible rain in the forecast and the weather actually worked out totally in our favor. Let’s start on location:
So pretty!!! We mainly stayed on the West Bloomfield side of town in some natural settings and we have a little fun behind the scenes from Facebook Live for you:
Here’s another from outside…
Wow….
At this point we headed back to the studio to get a few indoor photos and the magic didn’t stop:
Adorable!
We also have the Snapchat story with some highlights from the whole session before we leave you with one more pic!
And we’ll end with this black and white closeup:
You’ll agree that Jenna generated some magic right? Indeed. We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

So yeah this kid Kyle here….. he’s a keeper and so is his senior session! What a great kid! We had a great day in Detroit with his parents Dawn and Mark and Mark even guest hosted a livestream which you’ll see below! Kyle is a Bloomfield Hills Blackhawk and we’re excited to show you a few highlights from our day!
Kid Kyle Is A Keeper
We started out at Belle Isle to get a bunch of photos including the Detroit skyline shot. We fired up the Facebook Live and Kyle’s dad Mark guest hosted the broadcast! He did a fine job…
Fun! And more importantly we got this killer photo of Kyle with Detroit in the background:
So cool!
We also used a few structures on the island including this new angle…
Very cool. Kid Kyle was killin’ it!
At this point we headed back downtown to The Belt Alleyway to get a few more and we fired up the Instagram livestream:
…and here are a couple results:
Definitely one of our faves from the session and pretty sure it’s another new spot with this pose for us!
One more up close:
Awesome – good lookin’ dude!
And there you have it – Kid Kyle killed it – he’s a keeper for sure and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day!

We were totally taken with Tia indeed on her senior session. From the moment she came to the studio in a whirlwind with her mom Ban we were impressed. Sharp, mature, personable, beautiful – the whole package! They found us with a Google search, called, came right over, and less than a week later we were taking pictures! It all happened very fast and it just worked – we connected.
Totally Taken With Tia
We started in the studio with a few outfits and backgrounds before we headed out on location to Birmingham accompanied by Ban and Tia’s older sis Tara who did Tia’s makeup! We’ll start with the studio photos first:
We will always love our “black and blowy” setup and Tia rocked it!
We also have some fun behind the scenes action for you starting with the raw feed from our Instagram LIVE video in the studio!
And here is one on the white background with the red outfit from the livestream…
Love the ‘tude! The girl was slaying!
At this point we headed out on location to get some summer looks at Quarton Lake. We’ll start with this one in the flowery dress with a few black-eyed susans in the background:
Gorgeous.
We have more behind the scenes here this time from Facebook Live!
And we’ll leave you with this fun photo on the dock…
Love it!!!!
You can clearly see how we were totally taken with Tia! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

Maksim has been in front of Ally’s camera before along with the whole fam, and we personally go back with his dad Mike a long way – for Doug about 42 years! So we were excited for the opportunity to photograph Maks for his senior pictures and we had a mega gameplan to takeover Detroit to do it! The whole fam came along – mom Sue and little bro Viktor!
Maksim To The Maximum
We spent the whole day on location in Detroit – first stop Belle Isle!
Max is looking good with Detroit as the backdrop! That’s the GM Headquarters AKA the Renaissance Center in the distance!
After some time on Belle Isle we headed over to Eastern Market to find a couple of murals and we also fired up some behind the scenes on Facebook Live – take a look!
And here’s one of the results:
So cool!
Next stop back downtown to the Belt alleyway for a pic of Maksim and “MOM” hehe…
At this point we had one more stop to make and that was West Riverfront Park where we had the Ambassador Bridge as a backdrop and here is the behind the scenes action from there that we streamed on Instagram:
Such a cool spot, BUT – we’re going to sign off with a photo from there of Maksim to the Maximum – up close and personal:
Nailed it!
And there you have it – it was Maksim to the Maximum indeed and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day which actually ended with pizza at Pie Sci – YUM! What an awesome time we had all around and the results prove it!
