Making It Happen On A Day To Remember With Morgan!

So we may have saved the best class of 2023 senior session for last even as we’re already in the midst of class of 2024 sessions, and we are pretty darn excited to share.  Morgan’s session took a some planning and the wait was absolutely worth it and then some!  Morgan is a really big Detroit Lions fan, he’s a legacy since we photographed his sister Madi, and we’ve known his parents for a long long time, so when you add it all up and include a day at Ford Field for his pics, you get a day to remember on SO many levels – like FOR REAL.

Without going into all the details this plan came right down to the wire, and for the people involved who helped make this happen – we are fully indebted with gratitude.  If you know, you know.  Let’s get to the pics.

Illuminating Ian With Some Fantastic Senior Pictures!

We are thrilled to present the highlights from the day we were illuminating Ian for his senior pictures!!!  An awesome day in multiple locations including downtown Detroit and Ian crushed it.  We weren’t surprised since he’s a legacy and his sister Sara’s session was also reeeeeeeally great.  We had a blast and plenty of laughs with this dude and his delightful mom Diana, so let’s get to a few highlights!

Ian is an artist too – one of his mediums of choice is oil on canvas with some mixed materials / media added at times and he brought his art to the proceedings as well – you can see he’s wearing his painter’s jacket above and here’s some behind the scenes from Facebook!

Ending In Epic Fashion With Elana – A High Note For Class Of ’23!

So listen, we love our seniors.  All of them.  And that doesn’t change if we say that we MAY have saved the best for last.  We aren’t playing favorites here, but Elana’s session was EPIC.  As the likely last senior for the class of 2023 we can say we ended in epic fashion indeed, including a first for us of photographing at Jack White’s Third Man Records in Detroit!  So cool.  This was also an encore for Elana since they appeared on this blog before as a spokesmodel for the class of 2023!  Elana’s mom Barrett and latecomer dad David (haha) both joined us for this session and we’re pretty psyched to show you some highlights.  Let’s get to it.

We started out as I said at Third Man Records and if you haven’t been there you need to go.  What an amazing place and they were pressing vinyl in the back while we were there.  Here’s one of the highlights!

Elona Eliminates Any Doubt For The Class of 2024 Spokesmodels!

Elona eliminates any and all doubt that the class of 2024 will be an amazing one as she leads the way for our new spokesmodel crew!  It comes as no surprise to us since we’ve been photographing her almost her whole life (most recently last year for her 16th birthday with her crew), which adds a bit of surrealism to the proceedings for us.  Time flies!  We love this Cass Tech senior-to-be so we are thrilled to be posting highlights of yet more sessions with her in front of Ally’s camera!  Let’s get to it.

The Truth About Trisha and Her Senior Session – Both Fantastic!

So here we go with Part 2 of the Trina and Trisha show!  Lol – we posted cousin Trina’s highlights yesterday and now it’s Trisha’s turn in the senior spotlight!  A chilly morning in Detroit ended in the studio and we have awesome photos from each.  Trisha is a class of 2023 senior from Cass Tech and she’s totally adorable – we had a great time with these girls so let’s get to more of the highlights!

Class Of 2023 Senior Petrina Perfects the Senior Picture Thing!

We were so happy when Petrina called us for senior pictures – she was here once before for a photo session with a crew of friends for Elona’s sweet 16 pics and she is a total sweetheart!  Not to mention she brought her cuz Patricia with her for a double senior session (Patricia was also at that first shoot) so we got to have double the fun – the Trina and Tricia Technicians show – as in Cass Tech Technicians!  More on that in the next post…  For now we focus on Petrina and her amazing pics, so let’s do this.

Ryan Rocks His Senior Pictures Which Had A Little Of Everything!

Ryan rocks – what a great kid!  We went to high school with his mom Missy and we had a blast with them along with dad Jon on a cold snowy day in Detroit, along with some pics back at the studio and the finale in the Clarkston Wolves hockey team locker room!  Plenty of laughs, and as the title suggests, this session had a little of everything – even Barley their Bernese Mountain Dog!  So let’s get to the highlights!
