Here we go with the Class of 2019 Spokesmodel Panorama…..RAMA!!! We did this last year and this is just our fun way of stacking these behind the scenes iPhone panoramic photos that Doug took during our spokesmodel sessions. There’s something cool about the way the scope of a panoramic photo can capture and distort a scene in a weird and wonderful way! These are not “professional” photos by any stretch and are not meant to be taken too seriously, but they are a fun way to recap our last few months with our Class of 2019 crew as we head into senior season!
This year’s sessions took us to the usual haunts as well as a new one or two… burned out buildings, majestic theaters, trails and parks, and of course the Frameable Faces studio! We have such an outstanding team representing us this year for the class of 2019 and so in no particular order, here is your panorama…..RAMA!

Chloe is the third senior we’ve “borrowed” (hehe) from this family to put in front of Ally’s camera after sisters Alayna & Emily, but the third time is a charm since she’s the first spokesmodel from this fam! All these girls are delightful so it’s not a surprise that Chloe is carrying on the tradition so well, it’s just cool that we get to photograph her twice! Today we’re highlighting a few images from her spokesmodel session and the great day we had with her and her mom Krista as she represents the Birmingham Groves class of 2019!
Third Time’s A Charm….Named Chloe
We wanted to get a few photos in the studio first so we went with the black and blowy which we are doing with every spokesmodel…
Love that…
Next we broke out our pink backdrop which usually makes a couple of appearances in each senior class and we have some fun behind the scenes on this one from Facebook Live!
And here’s a pink pic:
Yassssss.
At this point we headed outside – first to one of our favorite nature preserves for a few photos on a set of flat rocks we call “The Slab”:
And we have more behind the scenes fun from this part of the session from our Instagram Live – this is the raw video without comments from our YouTube Channel.
The last photo we’ll share was at the end of the session and involved a little adventure – a passerby suggested we walk about a “fifth” of a mile down the pathway to a “decking” with a great view. It was more like a mile, we wouldn’t say it was a “decking” even though we’re not totally sure what a “decking” is supposed to be, and it wasn’t much of a view. We were a little salty. BUT – we still got a couple of amazing photos on the trail and this one is definitely one of our favorites from the day!!!
Wowsers! Just stunning….
And that’s a great one to finish with! The third time was definitely a charm with Chloe and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

We gushed about Dani plenty when we blogged about her spokesmodel session and after knowing her for about 6 months as she’s represented the studio for the class of 2018 we can say with certainty it was all justified. We LOVE this girl and we definitely had a dazzling day with her in Detroit! Her mom Diana came along for the fun and as you’ll see it was a session to remember.
Dazzling Day With Dani
Many of the highlights of this session ended up being in The Belt which we’ll get to, but we started out on Belle Isle and captured this stunner:
Wow – dazzling right? I also have to say that I’ve been playing around with the new Snapchat filters on my iPhone for some of the behind the scenes stuff we put on our Snapchat stories and I think this one of Ally capturing the photo of Dani above is worth including here – like a cool little painting…
Meanwhile we have the YouTube live broadcast replay from Belle Isle as well for you here:
Now let’s head over to The Belt in downtown Detroit where we captured some real winners!
Love it – and here is the behind the scenes Facebook Live broadcast replay that goes with that shot:
Her outfit seemed to be just perfect for the colors there too….
We also went to an art gallery there that rotates installations of different mediums and we’ve been lucky enough to be there when they invited us in to take photos. That’s where this last one was captured:
So cool! And there you have it – a dazzling day in Detroit with Dani indeed! We hope you enjoyed the highlights!

We’ve had a ball photographing Jordyn while she’s been representing our studio as a spokesmodel for the class of 2018, and a perfect day in Detroit photographing Jordyn is definitely our jam. As was the case with Jordyn’s spokesmodel session this was a family affair with mom Stacy, dad Eric, and even older sister Sydney met up with us for part of the day! The game plan here other than the yearbook headshot at the studio was to explore Detroit and explore Detroit we did!
In Detroit Photographing Jordyn…
We started out at Belle Isle which is where we spent a good deal of time. The more we shoot there the more great spots we find. The first photo we’ll highlight is of Jordyn at the James Scott Memorial Fountain:
Great spot, great backlight, great senior! As I said we roamed around the island and even stopped at the beach for a few yoga poses as you’ll see in this fun behind the scenes replay of our Facebook Live video we did!
Here’s another photo with the unique aesthetic of looking through a natural window at our girl…
So cool and Jordyn looks amazing!
To Eastern Market…
At this point we headed over to the Eastern Market area for some murals to play with and some grit and we found plenty of both! First the mural:
Knowing where your light is and how to use it is key…. love the backlight on Jordyn’s hair once again!
We also have some more fun behind the scenes here as we headed into one of our fave empty buildings – this time from the replay of our YouTube Live video:
And the result with the grit:
Awesome shot to finish with! Yes being in Detroit photographing Jordyn is definitely our jam and you can see why! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

When you Google the meaning of a Ruby the first thing you see is that it’s a “high energy stone” which makes sense for this Ruby because she is comfortable on a stage. And we’re comfortable with this Ruby because for starters she’s a legacy Frameable senior here – we met her a couple years ago when her sister Zoe was here. Besides, she’s got that hint of snark that we love, and we had fun with her on her senior session as we officially kicked off the new class of 2018 sessions!
Rolling With Ruby…
We rolled down to Heritage Park with Ruby on a very muggy and warm day – but it was dry which was all that mattered since there was a brief downpour overhead at the studio right before we headed out. Ruby’s mom Elyse joined us as well and we love her too – actually you’ll see her doing a little “guest hosting” of the behind the scenes livestreams a bit further down this post – a reprise since she did that two years ago too! So now let’s focus on Ruby who looked great and did a fantastic job for these photos!
Love that photo! Great one to start with…
As mentioned we also have plenty of behind the scenes fun – starting with a YouTube Live broadcast getting ready to shoot at Heritage Park… You can SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel here!
Here is one more in the black dress close up – LOVE:
Just gorgeous…
We went with a couple outfit changes on location and we have more behind the scenes for you this time from Facebook Live:
Let’s take a look at one more by the barn door (Ruby’s choice on location) before we head back to the studio for a studio shot…
Fabulous!
At this point we were happy to get in the car, blast some A/C and get back to the studio where we got a few shots on the black background like this one here:
And there you have it! The Class of 2018 is officially underway! Ruby led us off in style and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day!

It’s time for the Class of 2018 Spokesmodel Panorama…..RAMA! Haha – so when we were photographing our high school senior spokesmodels throughout the winter and spring of junior year I was playing with my iPhone to grab some behind the scenes panorama photos. These are not “professional” photos by any stretch since I’m not the photographer here for starters…. Ally is. But they are kind of cool and fun so let’s stack them all together and see what we come up with shall we?
It’s a fun way to recap these photo sessions with this awesome crew – in the studio, in the snow, in old crumbling buildings, in a park, two at a time, with moms in the background, with wardrobes sprawled all over…. we’ve had so much fun! Panoramas sometimes give you a distorted view along with the scope of the whole scene, and sometimes it looks like Ally is shooting in a completely different direction (but I can assure you she’s not)!!!

We’re dwelling on Dani here, and we may just have saved the best for last here with our 2018 spokesmodel crew… Okay well maybe that’s not totally the case because we love this whole crew so much, but Dani is awesome and we had already hung out with her for dinner at Chipotle before we photographed her so that just proves already how special this girl is to us!
Dani is another one of these superseniors who is sweet, smart and seriously focused on all the right things. She’s a well-rounded student athlete and such a sweetheart – and she comes with a great mom too! Diana is really great and she came on Dani’s session with us. Needless to say we had a blast!
Dwelling On Dani…
We spent a brief time in the studio first on the black background with this super cute outfit:
Love it!
After just a few shots in the studio we headed out on location to the West Bloomfield trail network and a couple of different nature preserves since the conditions were really nice and we fired up some live video for some behind the scenes fun – first on Periscope and if you want to download the app and follow us there at @FrameableFaces you can do it at this link. If you want to just follow our broadcasts from Twitter you can do that too here.
Here’s a full length photo outside – Dani was killin’ it!
We also need to give a shout out to Jordyn Popour from Detroit Glam for the fantastic job on Dani’s makeup, and we will be offering Jordyn’s services on sessions this year so ask us about it when you book your session!
Let’s take a look at one more behind the scenes broadcast from Dani’s session shall we? This time from Facebook Live…
Here’s one more sneak peek from the session for y’all….
So there you have it – dwelling on Dani was well worth it, and we can’t wait to get her back in front of Ally’s camera for her senior pictures along with the rest of the class of 2018! We’ll leave you with the fun Snapchat story from the day!

Join us with Jordyn won’t you? This was a fun springtime spokesmodel session to be sure – we usually start with the new crew of spokesmodels in the studio because it’s winter, and don’t get me wrong we love those! But it’s also nice once the weather starts to break to get out to some of our fave locations and shoot outside and this was our first time back to Quarton Lake in Birmingham in a while.
As for Jordyn, we are pretty darn excited to have her in the new class of 2018 spokesmodel crew. She’s a friend of our daughter Lacey’s and Lacey has good taste. Jordyn is great and her parents are really cool too – it’s fun when both parents are available to come on the session with us! So let’s get to a few of the sneak peeks from our day…
We started in the studio on the black backdrop:
ADORABLE!
We also have plenty of behind the scenes fun for you as usual and here is the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast – be sure to like us on Facebook and you can tune in to future broadcasts there!
Here is one of our well known black and blowy shots – Jordyn rocked it!
This would also be a good time to give a shout out to Jordyn Popour of Detroit Glam for the hair and makeup which she did here in the studio – remember that, because we will be collaborating with Jordyn in the future to offer her services for our senior sessions!
Springtime Spokesmodel…
At this point it was time to head out to Quarton Lake in Birmingham which is a popular spot for our seniors!
We started at the spot we call…..”the spot”!
I mean….. so great right?
Here’s some more behind the scenes this time from the Periscope broadcast. If you want to join in the fun on Periscope you can do it by following us at @FrameableFaces here or you can also just watch from Twitter here.
And here’s a fun last photo for now – Jordyn is clearly having fun here!
And there you have it! We’re glad you joined us with Jordyn for a Springtime Spokesmodel session! We are looking forward to photographing her and the rest of the class of 2018 starting next month! We’ll leave you with the fun Snapchat story from the day!

This blog title wrote itself – it’s impossible to look at a photo of Jordan and not be struck by her amazing hair so I had to do it. You’ve heard of Air Jordan I’m sure – the brand is supposed to represent excellence right? So “Hair Jordan” is certainly a good thing! And the rest of her is pretty awesome too – we were impressed with this girl from the first time she came to the studio for her consultation with her mom Julia. Just a cool confident teen and we look forward to the heights she’ll scale in the future.
Hair Jordan! 🙂
Meanwhile we are excited to present these photos from the studio and our urban excursion into downtown Pontiac. This session was killer and Jordan’s mom and little bro both came with! We started out in the studio so let’s take a look at a couple of those:
Okay – loving it all – Jordan’s skin tone and hair with the red couch against the red background? Amazing!
We also have some fun behind the scenes of the session for you starting with the replay of our live Periscope broadcast from the studio where we were making the above photo. If you don’t have the app yet you can download it and follow us at @FrameableFaces at this link or if you just want to watch from Twitter you can do that here.
Okay one more from the studio with a wardrobe and background change to the black fabric…
Fantastic…
At this point we headed to Pontiac to get some city photos – half painted walls, underneath parking garages – we love this stuff….
Here is a little more behind the scenes action – this time from Pontiac on Facebook Live!
And one more from the city! I actually spotted this wall. We’ve really closed this fall out strong with our seniors from the standpoint of finding bunches of new spots! We had never seen this wall before and it will now be “Jordan’s Wall” because that’s how we roll.
Wow – in love with Jordan’s session!!!! “Hair Jordan” indeed! That’s all we have for now – we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

Oh my Maya! That’s what these photos will make you want to say out loud since Maya killed it on her senior session! You may remember Maya’s spokesmodel session in Detroit from earlier this year since she represented our studio for the class of 2017, and we love when our spokesmodels return for their senior session! You see, the spokesmodel session is kind of “our session” to try out new spots, backdrops, styles and trends, while the senior session is “their session” to do whatever they want! In Maya’s case the plan was to get more of a fall session so we headed outside in October to do just that.
Oh My Maya!
Maya’s mom Julie joined us and we had a great time, but before we head out on location let’s take a look at a studio photo on the black background with Maya sporting her figure skating gear! Very nice!
We also have some behind the scenes action for you from the day, first with a broadcast replay from the studio on Periscope – if you want to be a part of our shows there you can download the app and follow us at @FrameableFaces at this link, or if you just want to watch from Twitter you can do that as well here.
Now let’s head out to see the location shots, starting with this secluded bridge at Heritage Park where we spent our time…
Gorgeous – the colors, the backlight, the senior! 🙂
Here’s another one at a different spot:
Conditions were just perfect and Maya looks fabulous! Let’s take a look at some more behind the scenes this time from Facebook Live!
We’ll leave you with one more…
So cute! And there you have it – oh my Maya!!! We hope you enjoyed the highlights from our day with her!
