Gotta take a second to pat myself on the back for my alliterative title here for the day we got municipal with Michael! We dig the urban shots in Pontiac and we had a good time getting edgy with this dude. Michael is another senior we’ve known for a while since he and our Tony have been going to school together for years so we were looking forward to this one!
Gettin’ Municipal With Michael
We headed to Pontiac which is what Michael chose for the fun edgy city images. We had a great time, talked some football and we got some great stuff, starting with one of our fave looks – the fire escape…
Lookin’ good!
We also played around with some graffiti and murals and some live streaming for the behind the scenes fun – first with Facebook Live:
We did a little exploring and this photo is pretty cool with the reflection in the glass of our guy:
Here’s another outfit change with a little ASU style in the black and white…
So COOL.
We also have another behind the scenes replay for you this time from the Instagram LIVE:
And we’ll leave you with one more:
Good stuff!
Rock on – we got municipal with Michael and the results are killer. We hope you enjoy the results of our day with him!

Magnificence is defined as “the state of being strikingly beautiful or impressive”. So, yeah sure we’ll go with that since it’s uh……SPOT ON with this girl!!! Maddy is indeed an impressive young lady! We’ve known her for a long time and this is actually the second time she’s appeared on our blog going back to the time of her Bat Mitzvah! She’s also a legacy as a senior since her older sis Haley was also a Frameable senior so we were looking forward to this one.
Magnificence With Maddy
We were ultimately joined by the whole fam – proud parents Donna and Stuart joined, Haley cruised home from Ann Arbor, and the pup and grandpa all showed up – we love a fun family outing! We mainly photographed around the West Bloomfield City Hall where there is a ton of spots to use including this awesome burning bush you’ve seen here before. Maddy rocked it!
We also have some fun behind the scenes from the day – first with the replay of the Instagram Live:
Even Missy the pup got in on the action – a girl and her dog!
Okay how CUTE is that?
Here we have a stunningly magnificent image of Maddy just up close and personal:
Gorgeous!
We also have a little more behind the scenes from Facebook Live for you:
And we’ll leave you with one more with some beautiful backlight:
Wow!
And there you have it – magnificence with Maddy indeed! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time with her!

This was probably the easiest blog post title I’ve ever had to write! Going for the gold was easy with Grace because she’s a sweetheart, she’s an accomplished track and field student-athlete, she’s friends with another of our all time fave seniors Jojo, and she’s a gold medal hurdler herself! Like – for real!
Going For The Gold With Grace…
This was a session of firsts for us – we found a new spot that we photographed for the first time in Pontiac, and we set a hurdle on fire – we’ve set plenty of stuff on fire before but never a hurdle! Before we get to the hurdle we’ll start with the location photos in Pontiac where we noticed a little marble structure that we never used before that framed Grace nicely:
Gorgeous!
We also have some fun behind the scenes for you first from the replay of the Instagram LIVE:
We were all a little hungry at this point too, so we stopped for a snack and discovered that while Grace likes guacamole she has zero interest in avocado toast. We’re not totally sure why. Hehe…
So an outfit change later we did a little more exploring in Pontiac and captured these next couple images…
We are always fans of the fire escapes…
Grace looks amazing!
At this point it was time to get back to the studio where the session got REALLY LIT!!! Grace brought a hurdle to the studio and we lit it on fire – kinda like the fire Grace leaves in her wake as she hurdles to greatness! Check out the behind the scenes broadcast of this from Facebook – it’s sooooo cool!
And here’s the fiery result!
LOVE IT!!!
We’re going to leave you with one more video…. We don’t usually post these types of things here but we can’t help it – we’re just SO excited for Grace! Not long after our session Grace was off to Argentina to compete in the Summer Youth Olympic Games where she took the GOLD in the women’s 100 meter hurdles! Here she is going for gold!
And there you have it – now you see what we meant when we said we were going for the gold and hurdling towards senior session greatness! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with Grace!

A breakaway in hockey is when a player has the puck and an open skating lane to the net with no one in front of her. That’s how we felt with Morgan on her senior session – nothing stopping us and nothing stopping this girl! Morgan is one of our spokesmodels for the class of 2019 and we were looking forward to this session – especially since Little Caesars Arena is her team’s home ice and we were able to get on the ice for a few photos! But more on that later…
A Stunning Breakaway Senior Session…
Morgan’s mom Jodi joined us for an overall epic day in Detroit which started on Belle Isle. We really thought we might be in trouble with the weather but that day was pretty much do or die scheduling wise and it started to pour on the way down. Uh oh…. BUT – lo and behold it stopped when we got to Belle Isle and there wasn’t another drop from the time we started photographing Morgan! Let’s start with this amazing new angle of the D as the backdrop for this stunning image of our girl!
WOWWWWWWW. Such a cool image and Morgan looks fantastic!
Here’s one up close and personal:
At this point we headed over to Eastern Market to get some murals and we fired up the Instagram LIVE for some behind the scenes fun:
And here’s a cool mural shot with Morgan’s reflection in the water from the day’s rains…
Just love that one…
Now it was time to head over to Little Caesar’s Arena and with a little assist from Red Wings Zamboni legend and building manager Al Sobotka we headed on down to the practice ice where Morgan’s team the Little Caesar’s 19U Girls AAA plays. Here’s the fun behind the scenes from Facebook Live!
And we’ll leave you with this fun photo from the ice!
Okay actually we’ll leave you with the Snapchat story from the day because it’s just too good…. including the fiery setup in the studio after a stop at Chili Mustard Onions for lunch! So much to cover – too much to cram all of it into a blog post!!! Lol…
And there you have it – a stunning breakaway senior session with Morgan in Hockeytown indeed! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

So how about some Madi Madness? Madness in a good way – as in madly great photos of a madly great girl… What a sweetheart and her mom Teresa is a delight as well! We actually met Madi months ago here at the studio when she popped in with our son’s buddy and current spokesmodel (and current Madi boyfriend) Josh, and we liked her instantly – she’s hard not to like.
Madi Madness
We had a game plan that focused mainly on outdoor location photos in Birmingham and we even had the pup join! But first let’s start with just Madi with this beautiful closeup:
Gorgeous!
We also have some fun behind the scenes first from the replay of our Instagram Livestream:
And here’s where the session temporarily went to the dogs – say hi to Ollie!
Love a smiling pup!
At this point we headed over to downtown Birmingham where we took this classic pose by Madi’s request – and she rocked it!
We fired up the live video one more time too – this time on Facebook Live:
And we’ll leave you with one more cute pose with the lamppost:
Love it! And we love Madi Madness! We hope you loved the highlights of our day with her!
Oh wait…. our friend Aaron Norvell has a hashtag he’s promoting on Instagram called #IJustCrushed – we got in on that as a little bonus for you… hehe…

We’re excited to bring you another cameo from Chloe here on our blog! Chloe is representing our studio as a spokesmodel for the class of 2019 at Birmingham Groves and she’s the third and final Frameable Faces senior of three sisters in this family! Chloe is closing a chapter you might say…and while she might be last she’s certainly not least!
Chloe Makes Another Cameo
For Chloe’s session her mom Krista accompanied us to Birmingham where we got some natural settings and some city settings – we’ll start with the natural first…
So pretty!!!
We also have some behind the scenes fun from the session – first with the replay of the Facebook Live broadcast:
At this point we headed over to downtown Birmingham where we got some great stuff! Like this…
And this….
We also have some behind the scenes from the Instagram Live we did as well:
And we’ll leave you with one more photo:
A little patriotic flair on that one – she was born on the 4th of July after all…! And there you have it – another cameo from Chloe and it’s a fine one! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our morning with her!

Alliteration runs wild as we’re classifying Claudia’s Closeups as Clearly The Cat’s Pajamas!!! They are indeed and we’re not surprised. Claudia has represented our studio as a spokesmodel this year at our beloved alma mater North Farmington High School and we couldn’t be prouder. She’s really “put her best foot forward” – more on that in a sec. The truth is we do love this girl and we’ve been so happy to get to know her and her delightful momma Sandy. We have a ball when we’re hanging out with these girls.
Best Foot Forward
Meanwhile Claudia achieved a little fame this year – well part of her did. You see, our school now has a tradition that has become well known and even covered in the online media such as Mashable which involves dressing up as hilarious characters for their student IDs and these shenanigans tend to go viral. Here’s the screen shot from the Mashable article which saved Claudia’s as the best for last…..
What an ID!!!! LOL….so hilarious. Nice work Claudia!
Meanwhile we wanted to get some photos of not just Claudia’s foot, so we headed out on location to a few natural settings on a nice sunny day armed with a few wardrobe changes and here are the highlights!
Claudia’s Closeups
Wow! Claudia looks amazing in the meadow! We have some fun behind the scenes action for you as well,
And another result from the preserve:
Stunning…
At this point we moved to another location where we saw (and avoided) a bee’s nest about the size of a large watermelon…. whoa. But we got more great photos – all of Claudia’s closeups from this day as we stated in the title were the cat’s pajamas…
We also have more behind the scenes fun this time from Facebook:
And one last photo from our day:
Just beautiful!!!
So there you have it – classfying Claudia’s closeups as the cat’s pajamas was clearly on point – wouldn’t you agree? We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!

Wow – Jeremy’s senior session was the jam – an epic day that took us from their home on the lake all the way down to Detroit for some Eastern Market Mustang Mural Madness and back to the studio for some pics with a KICK! What a day… and what a family! Love these guys and they joined us too!
Jeremy’s Jam
After a brief start at the homestead with a few extended family photos we headed to downtown Detroit and the Eastern Market neighborhood for a couple murals, but this was no ordinary senior-with-a-mural shot – okay none of them are “ordinary”, but this was a mural Jeremy and his parents had their eye on – a huge Ford Mustang, and a perfect spot to park Jeremy’s Mustang in front of! SO COOL – here’s a little video of us getting the shot and it took a little trial and error to get the lighting right but Ally finally found the spot for the off camera flash which you can see on the ground in this video…
…and here’s is the killer result!
Love that photo! A first for us of its kind…
We also grabbed another mural photo up close with Jeremy here – also a first with a mosaic wall we had been wanting to use for a while (we’ve already been back since):
Love it!
Session With A Kick
After a stop at Pie-Sci for the best Pizza in Detroit we headed back to the studio to finish things up and we started with the yearbook photo and then a few more formal pics…
Looking sharp!
Next we got some soccer gear going – we love sports photos especially when they’re on FIRE! Here’s some more behind the scenes fun this time from the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
And one of the fiery results (which almost burned down the studio…lol):
Another first – with the flaming ball on the foot! Jeremy’s Jam was a session of firsts and we got a real KICK out of it indeed! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with him!

We love this kid – he’s been a buddy of our Tony for years and he’s a great kid – and he’s a character in a good way. Thinking about him can make us smile – Elan epitomizes character, as in he has it and he IS it! We’ve spent plenty of time with his mom Julie over the years too – in the bleachers at swim meets, football games and even in her chair at her office (she’s our dentist)! These guys were the first to call us for the class of 2019 so we had this on our radar and our calendar for a long time and we had fun…!!!
Elan Epitomizes Character…
We did a combo of studio and location work with Elan and we’ll start in the studio:
Now that’s a dapper dude…
We also have some fun behind the scenes action – first with the replay of our Facebook Live broadcast:
At this point we headed out on location for a few – first with a cool textured wall that we like, and some photos just look good in black and white like this one!
Next we wanted some natural settings so we’ll finish with these:
Digging the flannel!
We also have the behind the scenes Snapchat story for you here with a few fun filters too…
And we’ll leave you with one more up close and personal!
And there you have it! Elan epitomizes character and it comes through in the photos! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with him!

Ally photographing Ally is about as good as it gets. Especially this Ally since her mom Teri was inspired by our Ally to use the name Ally for her daughter! So with this senior session the circle of life is complete!!! Haha… Ally is also a legacy here since we photographed her sister Julia, so a fun day was definitely in store and a fun day we had. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights!
Ally Photographing Ally
We had a great game plan simply because summertime in West Bloomfield is beautiful and we had a great day for it. We focused on location photos, starting out bouncing around a couple of natural settings like this one:
Love it and Ally looks beautiful!
Of course we have some fun behind the scenes first from Facebook Live (the video might be choppy – we’re not sure why):
There’s a bog we like as well that during a certain window of time is covered with algae and it looks really cool as a backdrop:
Pretty nice huh?
At this point we headed to a lake to finish up and the session went to the dogs…
Love when the pets jump in! That’s Black and White Baby Joe!!!
We also have the Snapchat story from the day for some more behind the scenes action:
We’ll leave you with this final photo of Ally getting in the water!
Love it. And love Ally photographing Ally! We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with her!
