Adrianna Gets Artsy In Detroit On Her Amazing Senior Picture Session!

Adrianna gets artsy on this senior session with a first for us – photographing at and around the Detroit Institute of Art!  Pretty cool setting that we enjoyed quite a bit – we’ve already been back since.  Meanwhile we’ve photographed Adrianna a LOT!  Going back to when she was very little, and not to mention she is a spokesmodel representing the studio for the West Bloomfield Laker class of 2021!  The whole family joined for a couple of family pics – dad Tommy, brothers TJ and Cruz, and then mom Lillian stayed on for the whole session – we always have a great time with these guys!

Radiant Rachel Reaches For Senior Picture Greatness!

Radiant Rachel for sure – what a stunningly beautiful girl on the inside and out whom we photographed on a perfect September day!  Rachel is a legacy Bloomfield Hills Blackhawk since we photographed her brother Kyle a couple years ago, and this session was special because mom Dawn AND grandma Nadine joined us!  We had so much fun – Ally was pretty pumped to edit these so we could post them and you’ll see why…

Adorable Anna just sums it up – she just is.  We had an amazingly fantastic session with her and her parents Jen and Tom in Detroit, and we kinda knew we would because her big sis Meg’s senior session was a memorable one as well.  We love this fam!  Anna is a class of 2021 senior at Detroit Country Day and we’ve been looking forward to getting these up on the blog, so let’s get to it!

An Epic Senior Picture Journey With Jimmy In Detroit!

This had to be one of our favorite sessions of all time, and I’m not just saying that.  We did some stuff we haven’t done which was really fun (more on that later), and of course the people help make a session so when you put it all together it was an epic journey with Jimmy for sure!  Jimmy’s parents Dar and Jimmy are awesome – we laughed a lot on this session and Ally has known Dar for several years, but we hadn’t hung out with her hubby before and we all just clicked.  As for Jimmy the CC Shamrock class of 2021 senior, what a nice kid.  A student athlete and a pleasure to hang out with.  We started in the studio and then headed down to Detroit – check out these highlights:

Okay so the title isn’t exactly the truth.  We didn’t actually jog with Joey for his senior pictures.  But we did hike a little through and around the trails of West Bloomfield for some cool pics and Jog and Joey both start with “J” so there you go!  Joey is a legacy here since we photographed big sis Chloe for her senior pics, and Joey is a unique dude to be sure – I like him!  He’s got his own style and sense of humor and we had a good time with him as well as dad Adam, mom JJ and Chloe who all joined at some point – even pup Royce got into the mix!

We had some major league moments indeed on this senior session with Matthew!  He’s a legacy since we had his sister Abby here for her senior pics and we’ve known his dad Jeff going wayyyyy back…  Matthew is a great kid and we had a great time in Birmingham with him and his mom Dana – we knew we would!  Let’s get to some highlights!

Up And Adam! A GREAT morning in Detroit! See What We Did There?

Up and Adam!  That’s what we did on an early Friday morning with Noah & Ellen to head down to Eastern Market to photograph Adam for his senior pictures!  This is not the first time we’ve photographed this kid.  We were there for his bar mitzvah when our Angela captured his event, along with his brother Jesse’s and some earlier family pics too!  These guys are friends of ours going back almost 30 years, but I digress – this post is about Adam being a Class of 2021 Walled Lake Western senior and bringing his sense of style to the proceedings – we would expect nothing less from this dude!  So let’s get to it!

Chillin Like Champs With Charlie On His Senior Picture Session!

Charlie is a great kid – we really enjoyed meeting him and his delightful mom Allison, and we were chillin like champs on his senior session!  Plenty of laughs and just an all around good time with great photos!  Charlie is a class of 2021 senior at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep and a student athlete playing hockey and golf!  He’s got a lot on the ball and we are pleased to present a few highlights from our day!

Checking In With Alexandra For An Adorable 6 Month Session!

We Get Riled Up In The Best Way To Photograph Our Goddaughter Riley!

Here we have one of those surreal moments when we photograph our goddaughter Riley whom we’ve known since birth for her senior pictures!  Riley has been on our blog before in family portraits and for her bat mitzvah and we love her – she’s family.  Her mom Monique joined us for what turned out to be a perfect day!  This is a special session also because it’s the first time we’ve ever done a senior session at Mill Race Village in Northville!  We now have a permit to photograph there and we are listed on their website so check out the site!  Should be great for some fall sessions this year, but I digress….  the point of this post is RILEY!  And yes, we are RILED UP to show you the highlights…..in the very best way!  Hyped, stoked – you name it!  Let’s go…

This next one has a little disclaimer – do NOT take pictures on actual train tracks – even if they aren’t in use.  It’s dangerous and illegal.  This is a little “train track replica” so to speak right at the park that doesn’t go anywhere.  It’s probably about 10 yards long.  We gotta say, we love this one.  Ally was up high on a step stool shooting directly down at Riley and it came out soooo good – her smile is amazing.
