In the category for Nabbing A Perfect Senior Session we are nominating Nora!!! Holy moly – everything about this one is fabulous. We’ve known Nora going back to elementary school days in the Magnet program at Roosevelt Elementary with our daughter Lacey, and she was always a sweetheart of a little girl then. Now that’s she’s a senior she’s still the same sweetheart, just all grown up and more beautiful than ever! We were so happy to have her here and we had so much fun with her and her mom Rajaa! We’re pretty excited to present these sneak peeks…
Nominating Nora…
We started out in the studio and we’ll highlight one of those photos first with the white outfit on the white backdrop. White on white or black on black both look really nice if you light them properly!

For the location part of the session with Nora we started with a return to Orchard Lake at a spot we hadn’t photographed in years to get a photo with the lake in the background and here’s the result:

At this point we had another stop to make – this time over behind the West Bloomfield Library and the light was perfect! These next two photos Nora was really in the zone. This first one in the meadow with the slight haze and the backlight on her hair…
